Is there any great product that keeps your nail polish on longer? I love painting my nails, but it is a pain when the paint chips off in a few days.

I have not found anything I like for topcoats.
BUT, I recently switched to Sally Hansen Salon or something like that and it is FANTASTIC. Costs a little more (6-8 dollars), but it's nice and thick, goes on better and with one coat and lasts forever. It's like the Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paint for nails.

make sure you use a base coat, then the polish and finish with a top coat called seche vite. that stuff is awesome! makes your nails dry super fast and stays on. also, make sure you wrap your tips with polish, that will help too.

This is what I do and mine last for a while. OPI base coat, 2 coats of OPI color- wait 2 minutes and then top with a coat of Sally Hansen 30 second dry top coat (comes in a red bottle- great stuff!!)

I like Sally Hanson top coat in a silver bottle. There is also a Maybelline or Cover Girl 10 day(can't remember) in colors and clear/top coat that is pretty good.
I had a manicurist once tell me the key is in the nail prep. If you don't do a base coat use one of those 3 way ridge smoother/buffer things to get your nails nice and smooth before applying your polish. She was right. When I take my time and smooth my nails my polish last way longer than if I don't. Letting each coat completely dry helps too.

I've found that the base coat made all the difference for me. I love Creative Nail Sticky. It comes in a green bottle. I have found it at salons and places that sell OPI and Creative nail products, like Trade Secret.
