You're making me want one! I've been drooling over the Pandora website for a few days now and I found a video on YouTube that I keep going back and watching to see which beads she has.

I've been wearing my James Avery charms bracelet since I was in high school but it's almost full and makes a lot of noise so I don't wear it to work. But I'm thinking I can get my charm bracelet fix during the week with a Pandora bracelet.

*sigh* I WANT ONE!

I want one too! I did see some bracelets/beads at JoAnn's (Jesse James Uptown Collection) that look okay, but of course no bracelet big enough for my big old wrists. Jesse James

Maybe, one day, when I get all the kids out of the house (might be a while since I have a 32 month old), I'll get one!

Sorry.

But I must get research, since I have no idea about them at all. I figure this will take care of birthdays, Christmas, and Mother's Day for the next few years.

I apologize for enhancing your yearning.

That's another thing I like about them. So many of us have people constantly asking us "What do you want for Christmas?" (or birthday, whatever)...a bead or two is something simple for someone to give you. Telling someone you'd like beads for your gifts for the upcoming holidays is so easy on them. They don't have to worry about clothing sizes or will she like the scent of this candle or does she already have too much perfume. And you know you'll love getting new beads for your bracelet.

Personally I like to be surprised so my family/friends don't know which beads I really want, but one of my friends has the Pandora booklet and she has the ones she wants circled. Her DH LOVES it - he will just take a peek at the booklet before he goes to the mall and it couldn't be easier to get her the perfect beads.

Do it!! You'll love it! I love mine. I didn't really "get it" about the fascination with Pandora until I got my own now I LOVE it! It really does make gift giving easy for my kids also. Both my older daughters have one now also so it is really easy to pick out a bead that matches the occasion or their personalities.

Do it! I love mine. I have enough beads for two bracelets. I have blue and green glass beads too which I love, but be warned, they will break if you drop the bracelet on a tile floor.

There is such a variety of beads from less than $20 to uber-expensive gold beads so it's easy to indulge.

I asked this in the other thread but got no answer so I'll ask again here.

I don't have any, but saw an ad somewhere that showed some beads being worn like a pendant and it got me curious about them.

Do you have to stick with one company or can you mix the different beads if you like something from one company and something else from other companies?

get one, I love mine too. My DH and my girls get so much enjoyment from picking out charms for mine. I feel like it's 'love' visible on my wrist.

Gia, I don't mix mine, it's only Pandora but I know people do mix some.

I don't know what mixes with what, but I know you can Google it to get the answer since no one here is answering you. I know there is Troll an Chamilla also but I don't know exactly what mixes.

I got a Pandora at Christmastime. I bought it for myself. I then got more beads at Valentines Day. For Mother's Day/Anniversary gift, I got the silver MOM bead, it was a more pricier bead so I just got the one. I figure, since it's Sterling silver, it will last and it can be something to pass on to a granddaughter.

My BFF just gave me a Pandora with 2 beads for being her maid-of-honor a couple of weeks ago when she got married. So excited to have one now.

Gia, I have mostly Pandora charms. But I do have 1 from Kay jewelers and some Chamilia. So the answer is yes you can mix them.

I asked about this when I purchased a few beads. Still do not have the bracelet & it was to be a Mother's Day present.

The retailer had Troll & Chamilia. She said usually they are interchangable. But, some of the older Troll (I think) beads will only work on the Troll bracelets because of a slightly smaller hole circumference.

The lady has been selling these brands for 5 to 8 years. So, I figured she should know.

Unless you are going in search of retired beads or buying on E-bay, you should be just fine if you wish to mix & match the different brands.

Anyone know where you can get these with a watch- especially a brick & mortar store? I saw 2 from an on- line search, but have never even heard of the websites.

Also, do you think the ones from Joann's, etc are ok in quality? (kinda dumb question I know, but I'm always hearing stories about costume jewelry having lead or other bad components in them. And, I really can't afford the " real" stuff, but would LOVE to have a sentimental piece of jewelry.)

Thanks in advance for any insight,
Berty

Berty, I can't answer about any with a watch.

But, you can get a bracelet for very reasonable at Kohl's, if you have patience. I bought one for a gift. Between the original sale & additional % off, I paid about $20.

With a few additional purchases, I earned Kohl's cash.

I'm not sure how good these bracelets are. However, I was trying to stay within a budget for the gift & this fit the bill.

Thanks mom of 1 sweet Lil lad. I looked at their website. Maybe I'll stop in and check it out.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks,

My absolute favorite is Nomades...it's patriotic/military based charms. I have a necklace and the bracelet. It's affordable and just beautiful. You should definitely jump on board and get one
