So, I just discovered that there are these monthly box subscriptions available for various products like makeup and nail polish. I found out today via Ali Edwards blog that there are monthly box subscriptions for kid activities! Wahoo! I'm really wanting to do one of these, but I'm not sure which one, and I want to make sure it's worth it. Anyone subscribe and care to share pros/cons, ages of your kids who play, if you think they're worth the cost, etc? Thanks!

My daughter gets Kiwi Crates as a gift from her grandma. She LOVES them! She is 7 and loves crafting and art projects so they are perfect for her. I'm always impressed at how nicely they are put together. The instruction booklets are nicely designed and very thorough and easy to follow. The supplies they include are of good quality. The projects are always really cute and even though I'm a pretty crafty person and have access to all the ideas on Pinterest, they're probably not ideas I would have come up with. I'd definitely recommend it.

We get KiwiCrate for my 6 yo DS. I have been amazed at the quality and quantity of our boxes. I literally could not come up with a negative thing to say. The supplies are generous. The themes are great. The designs are always way cuter than what I would have imagined. Love love love!

My house gets the citrus lane box. They tailor the toys in the box to age specific and normally enviromentally friendly. One box my DD got vegetable based finger paint, so since she is toddler age and still tends to put things in her mouth it was not toxic.

We got Kiwi Crate (I put it on hold for now). Wonderful kits, but I wanted something my 4-year old could do independently (2-year old and newborn in the house at the time), and there were many times I needed to help her. I am going to restart it in a year when she is a little older. Love them though.
Haven't heard of the other ones. Off to check them out.

I get Citrus Lane and love it!! They are local to where i live so I always find it amusing when I get the shipping notice when I have already gotten it in the mail. I am trying to figure out how to justify adding another subscription when baby #2 arrives in Feb.

I bought a year of Kiwi Crate for my four-year-old DD. She loves them! We do them while little brother is napping.
