Are you planning to watch? If not, why not?

I'm working but will have it on while I work. I've already made my choice but I do enjoy the debates anyway.

This feature was on my Yahoo homepage ... kind of interesting:

"What One Question Do Voters Want Asked at Wednesday's Presidential Debate?"

What one question do YOU want asked?

We are absolutely watching! We are total political nerds in this house. After eating dinner at Jimmy John's (see other thread LOL) we went to the grocery store to get snacks to eat while we watch and we stopped to watch the action at a hotel where one of the candidates is staying.

I don't have a question I specifically want to see asked. I feel like the first debate is one where I get to see each candidate and gauge where I stand on each one. Yes, I have my mind mostly made up about who has my vote, but it can always be changed. Granted, for this election it'd take one hell of an issue to change my mind, but it could happen.

I will get to see/hear some of it. but tonight is book club night..and I have to drive 40 minutes to get there...so may have to catch up tomorrow on last part.

I will hope some real discussion takes place. won't change the votes of anyone in our house (we are all obama supporters)..but I enjoy following politics.

I'll be watching. Looking forward to tonight. I am a total political nerd, as well. DH is not, so much, but will watch the debate.

CNN has a group of undecideds that will be interesting to see.

I'll be watching, but I've sworn off commenting.

We left Denver yesterday, it was a zoo down by DU. They're closing a major highway near the campus that already had people in a lather.

One thing I did want to say is that it appears the economy is doing pretty well in Denver. It's been that way for many, many years. I'm not for sure the undetermined voters in the focus group can relate to person living in Detroit or California and the problems many are faced with there.

I'm not watching ... I've been out of town sitting in my dad's hospital room for several days and camping out in my sister's living room nights. I'm exhausted.

I don't want a question - I want fairness with tough questions for both candidates over the issues we're all concerned about. I don't have faith that the press will give us that.

Excellent point Romney that more small businesses pay individual rates then corporate rates.

I'm forcing myself to watch the debates because I think it's the right thing to do, even though I'm 90% sure I'm voting for Obama again. Romney is doing much better than I thought he would, but I still don't see HOW he's going to do these things. And no, those outlined points were not specific, they were jabs. Jabs aren't going to grow our economy. And Obama's right; we cannot make more cuts in education and other important needs in order to keep the tax cuts for the wealthy. It cannot be done.

Interesting you brought that up. One article I read recently about McCain's debate failure, was to speak to the camera and not take on Obama directly.

It fits though. He's lecturing. It's what he is comfortable with.

What will be interesting, is if the "lecture" type speech resonates.

Yep so do we!

Nothing Romney could say would make me change my mind. It just slays me how Mr Romney wants to repeal Obamacare when they based it on the same plan that Romney championed when he was governor of Massachusetts and that's still in effect today

But, the President is starting to get into his game. I suspect we will see him get more feisty and direct here in the next few questions.

Erika mmmm I like romney fire and all is statistics, Obama looks old and tired reminds me of Mccain. However I don't see him taking notes as Romney is speaking as a sign of disrepect, and he does look at him.

Romeny is on fire people.
