I lurked for 2 or 3 years before I decided to post. I remember my first post. So did you lurk before you joined or just jumped in?

I lurked for a very long time. Still do to some extent. I'm getting braver now though.

I lurked a couple of years before before I signed up, but the Tear Bear thread got me and I had to play too.

Then I left for a couple of years in protest of HOF-gate and the censorship here.

But I got sucked back in in 2010...

Nope. I posted on the first thread I read the first time I realized there was a message board here.

And it was a political thread.

I lurked for about four years before signing up and posting. Because of time differences, this board is most active during the middle of the night. By the time I get to read threads the OP's question has been answered so I do not reply.

It amuses me that my low post count automatically makes me a troll in the eyes of some Peas.

Definitely!! This place had/has a somewhat 'tough' reputation and I wanted to get a feel for the lie of the land before jumping in

Today, I will be colouring outside the lines.

Yes, I lurked for a few years. I wanted to make sure I comprehended the inside jokes and references before I blindly jumped in. My mom lurked with me, and still does for the most part.

Yes, I have been a lurker off and on for a number of years...mostly off. But from time to time I check out the Pea's advice on different scrapbook related subjects, and find them spot on! So I've finally decided to bite the bullet and join my first ever message board! I love scrapping, mini albums, cards and multimedia art! Every now and then I check out the NSBR board too! So Hello!

Raising my hand, another lurker here.

I love the sense of humor around this place, and love reading threads with all the sarcastic & witty comments.

When reading old bumped threads, I wish sometimes there was a Pea history board for all the back stories for us newbies. Those stories are priceless!

I mostly stayed in the gallery for the first year and a half, then had a question about something so went to GS forum, was there for a while until some NSBR pea come over there and stirred up the pot about torn paper bears, I lurked at NSBR once in a while and eventually there was something I decided to reply to so logged in and the rest is history

Yes. I lurked for a couple of years before I decided to join. Can't remember now what finally got me to jump in, but, as you can see, I don't post a whole lot. I stay away from any deep or controversial threads. Still too intimidated.

Yeah, I lurked the site for a couple years, off and on, before I joined. Although I am pretty sure I had a pea ID before my 2002 start date, but it got lost in the board transitions. I think I posted a couple of times on GS asking questions. I remember coming onto the NSBR after September 11 and lurking. After I joined again in 2002, I mostly posted in GS the first year or so after that. I suppose I jumped into NSBR around 2003.

When I discovered NSBR, there was a flame war between Lauren and PDR raging which skeered me into anonymity for a couple of years. When I came up for air, the coast was clear so I came out of lurkdom.

This was me, only it was the epic thread with Beadhound and something about French teenagers. It was such a trainwreck, but for some twisted reason I just couldn't turn away. That thread is what kept me coming back each day looking for updates.

It was a while after that before I actually made a Pod ID.

This place would be a whole lot nicer if some took a chill pill. It would be even better if a few choked on it.

Definately a lurker (even though I think that word sounds a little sordid - like stalking). I only post when I feel like I have a comment germain to the topic, but there are lots of threads that I think are interesting to read.

I had a friend who was a big scrapbooker and belonged to this site. She used to post links to the epic fights and hairflips on our private Yahoo group so that's how I got sucked in...lol. I lurked for a long time before I joined, probably two years. There were many times I wanted to chime in but was hesitant because of how vicious this place can be...lol.

I finally just jumped in and that was history. It's funny that I've never scrapped in my life but I've been here for almost five years now. Even though bitches be crazy here, they are also smart and funny and I can just about find out ANYTHING I need to know if I ask the peas!
