Great pics...but does #22 already have his wedding ring on? If so, how can he be seeing her for the first time?

I can only hope that some young man looks at my daughter like that on the day she gets married. And it better be the groom!

I noticed that. #1 also has his ring on in one of the pics.

Thought this was going to be a freaky group arranged marriage story.
Happily surprised - thanks for sharing.

About the rings - maybe some of them are from other countries/cultures? - I know in some cultures the wedding ring is worn on the opposite hand than we are accustomed to.

A lot of these look like the arranged "first look" couples tend to do when they do their pictures before the wedding ceremony. Some of them want to make sure they're wearing their rings in the photos so they put them on early and then take them off right before the ceremony.

Those are pretty awesome.

I just got home from a wedding. The reaction of the groom upon seeing his bride pretty much made anyone with a heart get all weepy. I pray my children have that kind of moment one day.

How funny--I thought I recognized the location as soon as I saw #9 and then noticed the photographer's watermark. Sure enough, he's a popular photographer in our area.

I like this concept. Thanks for sharing!

The one by Becker, #7, gets me every time! I saw the original blog posting with that photo and it took my breath away.

Some of them don't truly look like the first moment but they are fabulous shots and there's one or two dresses I loved!

They are all wonderful - love seeing the emotions. #5 is really fun that has to put a smile on anyones face.

Did anyone think that #s 3 & 6 almost look like the bride is flashing the groom? Or do I just have a dirty mind?

Well, I'm a sucker for that first moment. One of my fave moments was when my DHs best friend first saw his bride...there was not a dry eye in the house. He had officiated our marriage just 6 weeks before and subsequently officiated the marriages of both our children.

Here's my DD's moment with her DH at Biltmore last October. They were both so excited. It may not bring a tear, but it will put a smile on your face. They took photos before the wedding, so this was their first moment to see each other.

I enjoyed those pictures.

How come there aren't any of the brides' faces on seeing their grooms??

I must be getting really old because several of these photos had me asking if those 'kids' were old enough to be getting married, lol!
