Dont post often but read the posts! You gals got me going with 50 Shades and lots of other "in the know" types of things. Well, I love good books and have always enjoyed reading many of the books you call post about. So, my questions is, what are you reading now that you enjoy?

I just finished "Winter of The World" It is the second in a trilogy, but you don't need to have read the first to understand this one. It gave me a new perspective on WWII.

I'm reading The Passage by Justin Cronin. it's got my attention, it seems to be along the lines of Stephen King, he's just long winded about it. and yesterday I finished Fury's Kiss by Karen Chance, I do really enjoy her books. I wish they published them faster.

I just finished Night. Now I'm reading Lynn Austin's new book All Things New. It's great so far.

Just a tip -Batya starts a reading thread every week that usually has tons of great suggestions in it. The peas always give great book reviews!

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn!

I usually don't care for mysteries, but this one kept my attention FOR SURE. Really liked it.

I just finished Defending Jacob earlier today - its a good book and it really makes you thinkbut it's a dark subject. I'm going to read something light now....probably something byNicholas Sparks.

I just finished reading Saving Cee Cee Hunnicutt and really enjoyed. I know I'm late to this party, but If you haven't read it, it's really good and a quick read.

Well my recommendations don't fall in the quality literature category, but I really enjoyed these books-definitely a step down on the sex from 50( though still steamy), but they were such fun, laugh out loud reads. Each of my friends who has read them has really liked them too.
The Unidentified Redhead & the Redhead Revealed by Alice Clayton
Seduction and Snacks & Futures and Frosting by Tara Sivec
All of these are pretty cheap Kindle reads too (Seduction and Snack is only $.99).

A Discovery of Witches, which I read last year was fantastic. Now reading the sequel, Shadow of Night and it is equally enthralling.

OK. Newbie. This is how it works. If your post consists of 80% sanity, 10% stupidity and 10% all kinds of crazy, we immediately focus on the 20% b/c it discredits the 80%.

it's terribly depressing that I found this book so useful but I got so much out of Spy the Lie that I'm making my husband read it. (Hey, don't judge. I've got two teenagers and a third becoming a teenager in six months.) I don't want him ruining my method with the wrong questions.

Other than that, if you like fantasy I enjoyed Sorcery and Cecilia so much that I started reading it again as soon as I finished it. The plot is pretty mundane and predictable but the characters were so freaking fun I could't leave them yet. (it's not brand new. I got it from the library. have no idea if it's in print or available in e-book.)

I must have downloaded six books last night onto my Nook app on my iPad! Great reading is heading my way! WHat I love about this board is the variety of books read- I read almost anything- one day may be a classic like East of Eden and the next day something like "Bared To You". Thanks everyone and I am now off to check out Batya's reading thread which I think Ive been missing since Im not usually on Sunday nights. Now I will make sure to mae a point of it! Happy reading everyone!
