I stalk blackfriday.gottadeal and I was up until 2 am waiting for the Best Buy $187 laptop deal. At 2 am they switched from 'coming soon' to 'in store only'
So I switched to plan B and got up at 6 am for the Office Max $249 laptop deal.
I got that one, but it said in the flyer you needed to make an additional $50 purchase, so I threw ink cartridges in the cart.
Turns out I didn't need the extra purchase after all, but I got a good deal on the cartridges.
I was also able to get a great deal on a ukelele, a long board and some larp garb by doing exhaustive online searches of more obscure online stores. I feel pretty darn thankful, for both the deals and the resources to provide them for my loved ones.

I didn't stay up but saw that a FB friend had good luck on Target online. I checked them out and got DS an Ipod Touch for a good deal. His last one went through the wash.

I can't think of anything other than a sick child that would make me stay up all night - I love my sleep!  
But I've been getting some decent stuff on Amazon. Took advantage of the 50% off Melissa and Doug for my toddler, and got a wireless Xbox controller this morning for $30.
Oh, and my husband got a cheap TV wall mount and half off a thing to stream TV, in anticipation of getting the TV at Walmart tonight. The HOPE is that by installing it in front of our treadmill, we'll actually start using it.  |

Thats a good idea to put the treadmill in front of the tv.
It works in my house. There are certain shows that I will only watch while I am on the elliptical. I call it Trash TV Time, and I get to watch all the trashy TV that I want as long as I am exercising. |

Not going anywhere but I got a couple of good deals on Amazon. I missed a few to - boy some of them go fast. Still happy to save some money and not have to go anywhere. The dishwasher is going for the 4th or 5th time today, linens are in the wash and two pots of stock are simmering on the stove. I am glad I hadn't planned on going anywhere as we were at least an hour behind on dinner.
I have a couple more deals I hope to catch tonight and then I will set the alarm to wake up early for one at 4 and then go back to sleep and I have another deal I want around 8. I love not having to leave the house and getting things that I love and that DS will love. |

I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm not feeling it this year. I've saved a bit here and there but I'm not seeing any upcoming lightning deals that make me think I want to stay up all night.
DS wants MW COD II (Oops should have said Black Opps II) but I doubt that's going on deep disc this year.
I don't feel like there are as many deals on Amazon this year. Or maybe I'm just tired.  |

I got 4 pairs of boots from JC Penneys, and some Vera Wang skinned pants from Kohls. Plus I broke my rule and went to Michaels. I got enough to decorate the office tree at 50% off and then an extra 30% off. Whoo hoo totally worth the rule breaking! |

I don't know what deals are available online but I have no Costco or membership in this region and was still able to take advantage of a Keurig deal last year. There was a slight upcharge for being a non-member but it was still a great deal.

My DD sent me a picture that she took in Walmart in Orlando about an hour ago... It was empty of SHOPPERS! She thought something was wrong!
Yesterday (Thanksgiving morning at 7:15, we were at Penn Station in NYC. People were coming out of Kmart with the Proscan flat screen tv's (50 " for $298)that were supposed to be on sale this morning not yesterday. |

Last night I got some stuff on Amazon; not really deals but stuff I needed. I just got some stuff from Kohls online but I was trying to get multiple discounts like I saw on another thread and it didn't work for me. Still go some more stuff I needed though - 2 shirts for son and a pair of winter boots for my trip to Europe next week. |

ZUKE1, I thought the same as your DD! I live an hour away from Orlando and went to Walmart this morning only to find an empty store and I don't mean of products but of shoppers. There were police officers at each entrance, which initially made me nervous...only to find dozens of empty parking spots by the doors and not a soul walking in or out of the store aside from myself. It was quite enjoyable -- in and out in no time! All I wanted was one Leapfrog item and two board games for my little girl. | |

I don't know if it is the sale - or my buying choices - that have changed.

Thanks but I mistyped. He wants Black Opps - the one that just released. People were waiting in line for it a week ago. It seems pretty locked at $59.95 this year.
I did score Assassin's Creed III on Amazon for what I think was a good deal. If it wasn't I don't want to know
What I'm finding this year is less that Amazon is saving me a bundle - but that it's priced the same as retail and saving me a trip. That's cool too
UPDATE: I just now confirmed that Amazon featured as a "lightning deal" the exact product I ordered at that exact price YESTERDAY. Meaning, it was $198 yesterday. They returned the price to $244 and have now LD it back down to "$199."
I know it's legal but ethically it seems

Bets Buy was advertising the Kindle Fire for $159 plus a $30 gift card with purchase. I thought the 'Coming Soon' button might have gone live at midnight, so I stayed up for that....but it didn't...and it still isn't. | |

Me too! They put that deal up on Tuesday I believe...I got a sweater and bra.
Best Buy put their Black Friday deals up online yesterday morning (except the doorbusters, obviously) and I got a new phone for $50. |

I scored a chair in the same fabric as my couch accent pillows that I bought years ago. Then they told me there wasn't a chair to match. Found it at a funky little refab store.
Then I got DD a foldable wagon for outings on amazon a few minutes ago. Used the shipping charge on that as the impetus to go ahead and get a prime membership. I've been hinting to DH about wanting one of those for a long time now.
DH went to WM last night and got some of the flannel pj's for DD. They're the perfect weight he also got her a pair of hot pink jordache jeans. Little squirt has grown almost two whole inches in the last 5 weeks! Literally the overalls i bought her to go to the pumpkin patch have gone from a bit big to way too short and small as of today. They're cute and i"m sad, maybe I should look for a bigger size online.... hmmm. |

I got a desktop Keurig for my mom on Overstock for $62.99 shipped free. Just ordered Assassin's Creed III for $34.99 on Amazon. Both are really great buys. I missed the Halo 4 deal on Amazon and Target is sold out. Holding out hope for cybermonday on that one. I also need Black Ops II but I doubt I find a deal on that one. |

Well, since I last posted I've been checking Best Buy's website constantly, to see whether the buy button has been made live on the Kindle Fire....it just came live so I hit buy, entered all my info, and it came back and said no shipping available on this item (despite calculating shipping in the total price)so I punched in my zip code for store pick up.....not a single store in the State of Florida showed it was available for store pick up.
I called their toll free number and was told 'Oh, we sold out of those on Monday when all the Black Friday specials were made available to our 'special' customers. WTF? So why don't they just put sold out on the item....why change it from 'coming soon' to 'buy now' Why waste my freakin' time? I feel sorry for the operators who are having to deal with PO'ed people!! | |

I got 3 of the 32' tvs from wal-mart and the ipod touch with accessories deal along with 4 board games for $10 each, a 650 piece lego set for $15, monopoly millionare for $10 and a few other little things.
A couple of shirts for me from American Eagle for 40% off and then at Deb got a sweater, another shirt, 3 pair of bootwarmers, 12 pair of socks and 4 scarves for $48.
Elder beerman I got a king size down comforter for $19.99 and then a shirt that ended up being free after a coupon I had.
Dicks had UnderArmor sweatshirts for 25% off so I got 2 for each boy and 1 for me.
Some movies for $1.99 an airsoft gun for $39.99 and xbox live cards for $10 yesterday.
My Visa is about to burst into flames, i'm not looking anymore! |

I generally do not shop BF as we are usually up in mountains at in laws cabin but this year we are home and since I couldn't sleep past 4:30 this morning, I browsed Amazon. Turns out there was an upcoming lightening deal on a Step2 Buggy so I set myhne alarm to remind me 7 hours alter and go figure at that very moment I was dealing with a diaper situation and 5 mins later the wait-list was even full. I just saw that the Halo 4 deal is coming back up in 1 hour and 3 minutes (that will be 11:10am CST). You buy the game at regular price and get a $20 Amazon card and $10 in Amazon instant video credit.

I saved $186 at Kohls after % off, sale prices, and Kohls cash.
I ordered from Amazon and got 60% off one of my items, 40% off of another, and free shipping. Shipping would have been $26. |
