Ohhhhh, no way.
'Loved him as his evil JR self in the new "Dallas". It really was fun to watch after following him in the original series.
Not to mention his "I Dream of Jeannie" days. (Yes; I'm that old!) LOL |

Another one who never watched Dallas, but as a kid I loved him on I Dream of Jeannie. Such a silly (but cute) show. |

I used to have a crush on 'Major Anthony Nelson' when I was a kid! He was so handsome, especially in his uniform.

He was in Dallas working on "Dallas". I saw a photo of him that was taken two weeks ago and he looked good. Better than he had during this "first season" of the new "Dallas" (which had been filmed over a year ago). The article I read said he died due to complications from the cancer. He's been through so much in the past decade with his own illnesses and his wife's illness. Very heartbreaking.
I'm very saddened by the news, but happy that he was doing what he loved again. I just wish he'd had more time to enjoy his return to work. Very touching that his longtime co-stars and close friends Linda Grey and Patrick Duffy were with him.

Just saw this in the article at USA Today:
The second season of TNT's Dallas is scheduled to premiere Jan. 28; six of the 15 episodes had been filmed at the time of his death.

How very sad. He was a wonderful actor. I am familiar with him in both his I Dream of Jeannie role and on Dallas. I watched Dallas when it was on air originally... IDOJ was in reruns by the time I discovered it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and castmates. |

I really got into the new Dallas after being a devoted original Dallas fan. I am glad that when his time came he was on top of his game, and not forgotten about like so many. I am really sorry to hear that he passed. |
