It doesn't appear as an option when I try to make a purchase..... Have never made an etsy purchase any other way. Any ideas? Thanks!

It's an option for me.
I just checked it, and until I picked a quanity of an item, it was grayed out, but when I did that it did switch over that I could check out with PP.

It is for me. I've been shopping on Etsy the entire weekend and have been paying through PP.

Thanks everyone~ I guess I should check and see what is happening iwth my Paypal account. I do remember getting some emails from them a while back saying that I was approaching some sort of spending limit, which I didn't understand...

Are you sure that particular seller takes paypal? It's unusual that someone wouldn't, but I don't think that etsy yet requires it the way ebay does.

Could it be that the particular seller you are using doesn't accept paypal?

Read the store policies.

Make sure that was an actual Paypal email before you click on anything. I get emails almost daily that say they are from Paypal, the subject is usually something that sounds life shattering if I don't fix it right away. They are all spam. Go to the Paypal site and sign in, if something is up you should know right away. I never ever click on a link to Paypal that is in an email.

Make sure you check the PayPal box before you go to check out. I didn't and it only offered me credit card payment. I had to back out and check the box (credit card is the default).

I found the spot to select Paypal option and placed my order. It's a small gift for our daughter, something she'll love!

Love the peas... always appreciate it when folks take time to reply to my questions! You're the best!
