It was a good episode!
All four teams left Amsterdam for Barcelona. The Beekman Brothers were last to leave but caught up in Barcelona to the other 3 teams.
They needed to take an overnight Ferry from Barcelona to the Spanish island of Mallorca, and that didn't leave until 11pm so they spent the day swimming and on the beach in Barcelona, just having fun.
Once in Mallorca all 4 teams got a clue from some locals who were doing a traditional devil dance, that was weird. They needed to do a tennis roadblock where Rafael Nadal trained. Then they needed to choose between fixing a 400 year old windmill or act like a bull and go through some matador capes at the local bullring plaza.
The twins completed their task last, but it was non-elimination. They had problems driving stick shift and also with the windmill task, so they blamed themselves for doing poorly.
Think they might be headed to France next week...not sure!

I DVR'd, but the show started late, so part of the end was cut off. I found spoilers on the internet. It was a non-elimination round, so no one went home. Next week is the two hour finale.

I was pretty sure it was going to be a non-elimination leg. Because when the teams came in, Phil didn't say "you'll be one of the three teams to be racing in the final leg" or something simila . |

Me too! It is amazing this season how much the teams are working together. While it is a game to win a million bucks I like the niceness.

Great episode!
To me it seems strange to be running with only 4 teams (very close to a chance for the million) and then team up and help each other. I don't think I've seen this before. I like the friendliness, but I miss seeing the competition.
Now what is the number 1 think to do before going on The Amazing Race? Learn to drive a stick shift car! It amazes me that a team still makes this basic mistake. One of the twins said she signed up for lessons, but only took one lesson. Clearly that one lesson wasn't enough. If it were me I'd be taking lessons until I could drive smoothly. BTW, I have a stick shift and prefer it to automatic. Learned when I was 16. Long ago!
Out of the teams left my choices for the prize is: The Chippendale Boys, the Texas couple, Twinnies, and The Beakman Boys in that order. Who are you hoping will win?

Chippendales, Beakman Boys, Texas, Twinnies.
As far as the friendliness of this years teams.
The ones left are but heaven help those who weren't
part of the *chosen* group. I still haven't gotten
over the twins and the Texans taking the rockers
money.

I was hoping the Twins would go home, too! They are incredibly annoying, and taking the rockers' money is unforgivable in my book. For that reason, I would put the Chippendales and the Beekman Boys ahead of Texas and the Twins.
I wasn't crazy about the Chippendales at first (I think I tend to like teams I find the most in common with), but they are REALLY growing on me! They are kind to each other and kind to others. They also play the game well. I am firmly in their corner now.

I agree with Chippendales, Beakman Boys, Texas, Twinnies.
Although, I was impressed to hear the Twinnies blame themselves for their poor performance in the last episode. I expected to hear a lot of blaming everything and everyone else. |

Chippendales, Beakman Boys, Texas, Twinnies.
Ditto, although I'm about even with the Chippendales and the Beekmans winning. I'm a big fan of the Beekman Boys show. |

Chippendales...then I don't care as long as the twinnies aren't in the final three. The Chippendales have always been gracious.

Funny how it turns out: I liked the Twinnies but didn't care for the Chippendales after the first episode.
Now, I was hoping for the Twinnies to go home last night; they are more annoying than funny anymore and stealing the Rocker's money was inexcusable.
I'm rooting for Chippendales...they seem like genuine good guys at heart.

I hope they give the Twinnies a decent extra roadblock.
In earlier seasons they had some hard ones, recent ones
include eating ice cream and getting a massage. |

I was SO excited when I thought the twinnies were out and SO bummed when I realized it was a non-elim. I'm sure part of why they're so obnoxious is because it's the edit they're getting, but every time they shriek "twinnie" at each other I just think: how have you lived this long and not killed one another? |

Oops. I forgot the Texas couple were in on splitting the stolen money with the Twins. Yes, that was inexcusable in my book too. Okay,my revised list is Chippendales, The Beakman Boys, Texas couple and Twins.
Although I really, really want the Chippendales to win the million. At first I kind of dismissed them, but then I start noticing how very kind and polite they are to everyone around them. They've had a very upbeat attitude and one of the guys could really use the money to help with his father's cancer treatment.

I'm hoping the Chipendales win.
The Beakman Boys and their whining kind of bother me. Not bad enough to root against them, just enough to make me not root for them to win.
Texas and Twinnies because I didn't like them picking up the money, knowing who it belonged to. No, they didn't actually steal it, but they did know that this wasn't the right thing to do. Maybe this would be kharma's way of biting them in the butt...depriving them of a $2 million dollar prize.

depriving them of a $2 million dollar prize.
Neither one has a chance of $2 million. The couple
that had that chance got eliminated. |

No, they didn't actually steal it
Taking something that you know belongs to someone else IS in fact stealing. I'm disappointed that the show didn't mete out a penalty to both culprit teams. There are enough honest obstacles built into the game.

I agree. Although the situation with the money did leave a bad taste in my mouth.
The episode where there are 4 teams is almost always a non-elimination leg.
Sometimes they switch things up a bit....like this year, next week is the finale instead of having yet another 4 team leg, but typically there is a non-elimination leg right before they make the final cut to 3 teams.
So I figured the twins were going to be spared.
