The woman hoarded cats. they found 49 in her house. Alive, dead, some in the refrigerator, some in zip lock bags in the freezer. Also other frozen animals- birds, rabbits, rats. It kept getting grosser and grosser but I couldn't change the channel until they said what was in the bottom of her freezer- liquid cat juice. When I saw that- it happened. I have a serious gag reflex and boy was it working. So I just picked up the remote and quickly flipped up to the next channel. What do I see? A commercial for an animal rescue. I need to get this freakin' god awful image out of my mind. HELP!! | |

Wow, that's pretty over the top. I watched an episode of hoarders on YouTube once with DD - it was some extreme episode - the house was completely over-run by cockroaches. It was so disturbing, we couldn't look away. I have since used it as a reminder of why we clean up on weekends and why she needs to help  | |

Just a point of interest, hoarding will now be its own disorder in the DSM V, coming out next year. Hopefully those suffering from it will get more appropriate treatment. |

I was watching Love it or List it and switching to Hoarders during the commercials and missed the cats. Thank goodness.
My poor 13 year old son had never even heard of Hoarders and was like  "mom put it back on the other show!" |
