Thinking about getting one of these with a lid and straw for work. I'd like to be able to put ice and fit a whole can of pop in there. Is the 16oz big enough, or should I go up to the 24oz?

I am doing that right now - I have the 16 oz. Tervis with crushed ice about half way up and and a 12 oz. Cherry zero - the whole can will fit. I guess it just depends on how much ice you like. I always like mine over crushed ice.

Thanks! Sounds like the 16oz will work great. We have an ice machine at work that dispensed crushed ice.

I prefer the 24oz because I like lots of ice. Love my Tervis.

I'd go bigger. You never know what else you may decide to drink out of it and like everything else, I like having too much rather than not enough.

I would also go with the 24 oz. It will always hold a soft drink no matter how much ice you put in it and if you want it for other things like just ice water, you have more room for that.

I like a lot of ice. Ice and a full can of soda fill up my 24oz perfectly.

I also would get the 24oz. I have a few of the smaller ones, but I am always reaching for my bigger ones. I just got a water bottle as well, and I love it!

OK - guess I better take a look at the 24oz too. Maybe I'll try to see them in person at Bed, Bath and Beyond before I decide.

We have several of the small and one large, I prefer the large for lots of ice and a can of soda but you can still get a decent amount of ice and the whole can in the smaller sizes, but you may have to drink it down a bit to add the lid and straw. I use them at home without a lid for that reason

Kind of a high jack...how does Cherry Coke Zero taste? I love diet cherry coke but can't find it anymore.

What kind of lid does everyone use? I am looking at Amazon and none of the lids get very good reviews! I'm a bit surprised that the cups don't come with lids??

I don't like the 24 oz ones because they are too tall an awkward in my car's cupholders.

Cherry coke zero? I love it. Much better than diet cherry coke. I don't drink it very often but that's the only soda I drink when I do.

I just use the regular sipper lid (the one with the slide) with a big, hard plastic reusable straw.

I love that you call it "pop"! I grew up calling it pop, but after years of people making fun of me and giving me funny looks, I have amended my ways and now call it "soda." Hearing it called pop makes me smile and think of my very happy childhood - thanks!
