Does anyone know anything about this supplement. I an usually a skeptic. You know--if it's too good to be true it probably is.

Does anyone know of any true benefits to taking this?
TIA!!

Interested to know too. I've watched both episodes of Dr. Oz where they talked about it. The second episode had the study they did. Just wish they'd say a brand that worked because all they said was what to look for on the label and that many were fakes. I would hate to spend the money on a fake!

I am. I did my research and you have to have at least 200 mg of Svetol (Green Coffee Bean Extract) and you don't want any other fillers. I am using ResVitale which I bought from GNC/drugstore.com

From the studies I read you have to take at least 300 mg/day for 60 days. (That's 1 pill twice a day before meals)

Now I read the participants didn't do anything to change their diet and lost on average 20lbs (I don't know their weights to begin with)

I took for 30 days and didn't change my eating and did lose 2.5 lbs but I am only 20 lbs over weight so don't know if you weigh more or less if the loss is better or the same or worse.

I am now on my second 30 days (did have a 2 week lapse and did gain 3 lbs from being basically on vaca) and this time adding in more exercise (I normally exercise 1 hour 3x wk so just adding in walks and trying to get 1 hr 5x wk.) I dropped 2 lbs immediately in the first 2 weeks. So curious to see if anything else changes. I haven't changed my eating..and it's the holidays so I know I am eating a bit more than I normally do with all the baked goods and sugary coffees. I am wondering once the holidays pass whether that will make much of a difference or not.

Bottom line is it does kind of work but as with any diet..you have to exercise and want to change your food intake. I don't think it is a miracle pill where you can eat whatever and never exercise and drop weight.

Thanks dictionary. I am finally pretty motivated to change my eating habits and was wondering if this would help at all. I might give it a try.

I am currently using green coffee bean extract for weight loss and it is working really well i have been on it for about a month now and its great. I have lost about 9 lbs and have had zero side effects and it is very easy to get. I ordered from a website called www.HealthyHopeNaturals.com | their formula is 100% natural so 0 side effects and they offer free shipping with no tax or fees. If your looking to lose weight try green coffee bean extract

Funny, you posted pretty much the exact same thing on the thread about raspberry ketones.

I watched the Dr. Oz show about it as well and it made me curious. basically he seemed to be saying it's not a magic pill, but it can boost weight loss. Sort of like what Alli does without the unpleasant side effects.

Dr. Oz also said that the very best thing you can do for weight loss is keep a food journal. The people who kept a food journal lost an average of one pound a week without trying to change what they ate (just writing it down makes us more aware.) and the ones that added in green coffee bean extract doubled the loss when combined with the journal.

The thing that has held me back is my body is not used to caffeine, so I'm worried about side effects from that and that GCBE is not cheap.

I tried it for a couple of months and I lost zero weight. I did find I had tons more energy tho. Towards the end of the two months I started getting headaches. I stopped taking it and the headaches went away; started it again and had headaches again so I just stopped taking it altogether. The kind I bought was 100% natural but not sure the brand.
