I have the most awesome pair of red LLBean driving mocs. I bought them about a year ago and it took me a long time to get used to wearing red shoes, and now I love them! I'm in the mood to look for another pair of red shoes. Anyone got something fun to share? Either something you already own or have your eye on?

I just saw a pair of Michael Kors flats on Zappos for $48. Super cute. I agree, molove -they are cuter in red. But it did take me awhile to "own" the red shoes. At first, I just felt weird wearing red shoes. not sure why.

Lauren. - you would be surprised at how much red shoes go with. I wear mine with jeans and sweaters (navy, gray, cream), a classic white shirt, black tees, etc. I also wear mine with my gray pants, red sweater, etc. For me, I had to "just do it" and after a time or two, I really liked the look.

Lisa - love the suede driving mocs! I think driving mocs are my favorite style of shoe. they are just the right shoe for my lifestyle.

Lol - I own 4 pair of red shoes... flats, wedges, satin heels (for cocktail and formal dresses) and Converse. I wear them all the time!
I find that red shoes for very flexible and go with so many outfits. I wear mostly neutral colors (a lot of black) so I like to add color with shoes and other accessories. I also like red with black / white prints.
These are the satin heels I have - Very pretty, but to be honest.. very uncomfortable.
These are almost the wedges I have - Not exactly, but very close. They are my favorite pair of red shoes and work well with jeans and maxi dresses. | |

Just ordered these: BALLET FLATS Yes, they're pretty straightforward, and not BRIGHT red, but they'll ease me into it Now, we'll just need a spell of warm(ish) and dry weather so I can wear them before spring! |

No stilettos for me. But I do wear red sneakers ALL the time. If I don't have red sneakers I use red laces. I just bought red snow boots. I do have to say that many many years ago I had red suede heels and loved those shoes!! | |

I have a pair of red Born clogs that are my favorite shoe ever to wear.
Then there is the pair of red heeled boots. I wore them to my grandma's funeral. She would have enjoyed knowing that I brought out my red boots to honor her.

I never have! I have never wanted to draw too much attention to my feet. Generally speaking, I will wear socks and shoes that blend with whatever pants I am wearing. I also tend to wear a lot of black, gray, and brown, and red shoes would look funny if they were the only pop of color. I did just buy black tennis shoes with some bright pink accents, and I have been amazed by how many people have commented on them, and I am not sure I like having people notice my shoes (or anything about my introverted self). | |

Absolutely. I have polka dot, peep toe stilettos. Love 'em.
I also have red cowboy boots and they are very fun. You just feel sassy in red cowboy boots.
I also have shiny patent flats in a really bright fuschia pink. They never fail to make me feel cheerful. |

I have red high-heeled sandals (kinda mule-style with a big buckle over the toes).
I have red leather loafers from Brighton.
I have red flat sandals.

I love brightly colored shoes. I tend to dress conservatively - solid colored cardigans, slacks, jeans and skirts, which is why I love the punch of color and/or pattern that a beautiful pair of shoes can provide. | |

Red doesn't go with my closet, so no red shoes. I like having a color coordinated closet, it makes me happy. It is all shades of blues and greens with some purples thrown in. I have maroon in the winter, which is kinda red and and doesn't clash. I could probably branch out with a dark red winter shoe.
My sister has red patent leather flats that catch my eye every time she wears them. She looks great in red. | |
