I was pretty impressed with the collections they turned out especially given the time frame.
Even though I'm not an Emilio fan, I kind of felt bad that he's a bridesmaid yet again. I felt like Uli's collection was shades of Doctor Zhivago and very dreamy. Anthony Ryan did a great collection. I just have to wonder how he felt after Josh said no to helping him out. |

I felt all along that Anthony Ryan was going to win (similar to how the first All Stars was Mondo's to lose). I thought all three collections were good, although I was kind of rooting for Uli. I liked her final collection better (and had really liked her on her season), but I think Anthony Ryan was probably the most consistent throughout the whole season. I really disliked Emilio when he was on his season and although I thought he was okay on All Stars, I think I still had some residual dislike.  I have to say I liked Josh better this go around too. |

I wanted Uli to win and loved her collection but was ok with Anthony Ryan winning. He seemed the most consistent throughout the season. I'm not an Emilio fan. Not sure why but I don't really like his work or his attitude, for some reason. |

I totally missed this whole season and didn't even know it was on until I saw a commercial this week!!!! Oh well, I guess I'll catch the next one. It's not my 100% favorite show like it used to be. | |

I never really like Emilio's stuff (there were a couple dresses that were great). A lot of stuff the judges just loved of his I was like...huh.
I really wanted Uli to win but based on the final collection I'm ok with who won.

Yea, I wonder if he saw how he was in his season and it was a wake up call? He's still self absorbed and a diva to a degree, but toned down this time around. He was fantastic in the challenge to make a dress for a veteran.
I think the "real women" challenges really show the true character of a contestant. Remember how bad Ven was last season? And Gunnar, who really annoyed at times during the season, was really awesome in that challenge and I liked him better after that. |

I really wanted Ulli to win based on her collection. I'm not a big fan of the colour blocking Anthony Ryan did. Over all he scored higher and took bigger risks in the challenges thru out than the other 2 did so I guess I'm okay with it. |

I was in love with Uli's concept and collection. I think she far surpassed the others...but I also think Anthony Ryan needed to win more than Uli. Not that the judges consider that.
It was a touch anti-climactic for me. But I watched Uli's show like 4 times.  |

I have to agree with this order. This was my preference of the collections. I loved Emilio's concept (Aunt Jemimah and Rosie the Riveter...come on!) and the collection itself. Just loved it. AR's was kind of plain to me...just didn't grab me.
But, as another pea mentioned, personally I didn't like Emilio on his season and while I liked him more this season, I have that same residual feeling about him. There is something about that guy that does NOT appeal to me. Uli and AR are both much more likable. For some reason, my BF really dislikes AR. I haven't quite figured out why.
Oh, and I thought this was so cute, but my dh's favorite was Josh. When he got sent home, dh was mad and said he wasn't watching the last episode.
The thing with Josh was weird and awkward and he may come to regret it. But, if his head's not in the right place, it's really better for AR that he no participate.
I'm a big watcher of Top Chef and one of my favorites, Richard Blais, both times he was in the finale, was very leery about having the last eliminated chef help him out in the final challenge. He always felt that their head couldn't be in the competition--it was too soon and they were too raw. I think Josh just wears his heart on his sleeve and that was how he was feeling. | |

I really wanted Uli to win. I loved her collection and have liked her all season. But I am glad Anthony Ryan won over Emilio. I didn't feel like Emilio really put anything different out there and was more of a concept and fabric based collection than design based. |

I have to agree. I watched the runway collections again and Uli's evoked an emotional response from me. It's special. |

yes! And it wasn't good. I hated that it looked like they all had no eyelashes.
I'm glad Anthony Ryan won but I actually would've been ok with any of the three of them winning. I thought they were all nice collections.
Re: Josh. I thought he was so mean and nasty in his first season and it was evident during all stars that he was trying to come across differently than he did in his first season. And although I thought his efforts came across as mostly insincere, he did *try*.
When Josh told Anthony Ryan that he just couldn't help him because he "wasn't ready" was the nail in the coffin for me. I would lay money down that Josh wouldn't help Anthony Ryan because he was pissed off that HE wasn't going to win, so he sure as heck wasn't going to HELP someone else win.

I thought the finale was excellent, and some of the best collections the finales have seen in a while. I think AR deserved the win, he was so consistent this season. I feel like it was just too late for Emilio to finally find his voice, but his collection was definately fantastic. Not my style, but very strong point of view. As for Uli, her 'show' was my favorite, from her colors, to choice of music, and the slower pace of the models...but her clothes weren't my favorite overall, so I think the choice was right from the judges. | |

ICK on Anthony Ryan's collection, but it was definitely apparent that Issak wanted Anthony to win and personally, I think he wants Anthony, period.
I like Anthony, but I did not like his collection at all and didn't feel it deserved to win. Emilio's was more to my liking. This all-stars felt the exact same way the first one did when it was apparent they wanted Mondo to win and he did.

Anthony Ryan and Uli were my favorites, and I'm not usually an Uli fan but I thought she should have one. Her outfits were gorgeous. |
