In case it sounded interesting and you want to read it, the book is called Born Weird by Andrew Kaufmann.

My husband heard a story about it on BBC radio this week. It's about a group of kids who have super powers but they are not good super powers. He thinks it was written by a woman and it may have been e-published although the BBC story made it seem like it was a very popular book. He remembers that one of the kids super powers is that he can sit on the couch longer than anyone else. Another kid has the power that when he gets into a fight, he will always have just enough more ability to win the fight but somehow, it always messes up his life.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?!!? He's been searching online for hours and found nothing.
