I have a sewing pattern that I am using and I am a little bit confused on one part. I have scanned the part I need help with, so if anyone here could translate it for me I would really appreciate it. Let me know and then I'll probably have to email it to you. I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to post it here big enough to see the tiny print without making it a really big picture.
Thanks so much!
If it makes any difference, the part I'm confused about has to do with a dart. The pattern piece itself does not have a dart. The sewing directions diagram shows a dart, and has some writing that I have been trying to figure out. I have managed to get the words "revision" or "correction" figured out, but not the rest. I don't know if it is telling me to add a dart only if I need the extra room or what.

I am a Japanese teacher so I will take a stab at this. I'm not so worried about the Japanese part - I'm more worried about the sewing part!! LOL I'll peamail you my e-mail address.

I don't think any translator will work with a scan. If they do, please post. I have several Japanese craft books and my mom does read Japanese but she has a really tough time interpreting what she's reading to English.

Thanks, Susan! I've emailed the scan to you. Take your time...no hurry!
I marked the parts I have having questions about.

I have this big Kanji dictionary and a Katakana chart, but I can't find all of the symbols. Hopefully you can help me fill in the blanks.

Deb, I'm looking at the bing site, but I don't think it will work in my case. I can't type in the symbols I need translated, and there is not a web page to use, but I am bookmarking it in case I need something like that in the future. Thanks.
edited to add: This may be useful if I type in what I "think" it is telling me and seeing if I am correct.
