DH and I have started Weight Watchers and were talking about setting up a little 'reward' chart for when we meet certain weight loss goals. We talked about the rewards being Non-Food related and I am having a hard time coming up with ideas.
So what non-food rewards do you give yourself when you meet a goal?
Thanks! | |

When I started my weight loss journey, I discovered my love of designer jeans. So, every clothing size that I went down I rewarded myself with a new pair in the smaller size. I then found a friend that I loved near and dear to me to donate the old pair of designer jeans. It felt really good that it made them happy and I couldn't wear them anymore because they were too big!
Now I'm at a standstill in my weight loss so I've invested in a couple of pairs. It makes me happy every time I slip a pair on. |

Smaller clothes were reward enough for me. |

Initally it was things like joining a gym, paying for a trainer, paying for classes so that it furthered by goal of losing weight. Then it was clothes, riding gear for my motorcycle, new make up... |

Mani/pedi, massage, new clothes, new running shoes, entries to races (which also comes with hotel and travel expenses, at least 1/2 the time.)

A lot of what has already been suggested, but also nice new undies.
There is something about wearing sexy underwear that makes you feel special and often she we have extra weight, we don't feel so special. As I crept down on the scale, I would reward myself with something nearly scandalous. I would know I had it on and enjoy that extra confidence boost, but no one else was in on my secret (well, besides dh). |

DH bought running gear, new bluetooth headset for his ipod, motorcycle parts/clothing, a personal trainer for sessions...
I for got one of my rewards and one of DH's...tattoos. I've wanted one for a long time. I got a very small one for getting to "one"derland and staying there for a month. Then I have a larger one planned for when I get to my goal.
I also have a day of beauty planned for when I get my goal. I'm getting a massage, mani/pedi, facial, a new hair style/cut/color and professional make up. Then DH and I are going out on the town that night for a special dinner. |

I give myself $5/day that I stick to my diet. If you are losing weight, you are going to want to buy new clothes so what better way to reward than money to spend on clothes?!

I didn't buy new clothes because I didn't want to waste the money on something that would soon be too big. In addition, because I never really set out to lose weight in the first place (if kind of just happened), I didn't find the need to reward myself. But, now that I am done with losing weight, I am definitely doing some shopping! I've purchased new clothes, shoes and makeup, and it has been a lot of fun!!

I'm not sure, but I think it is a good idea. I weigh 130 right now and am trying to lose to 116. I need to think of something that would motivate me like a new purse or a pair of cool shoes.

New music from iTunes
A new bead for my bracelet
Massage
Makeup
Other jewelry items from favorite designers or stores
I don't really use clothes as a reward because when they don't fit I just go out and get new clothes. But once I reach my goal weight I want to hire a stylist to help me pick out a new wardrobe. And like Shevy I plan on having a beauty day at one of the nicer spas in town. Then I plan on going to my favorite Mexican restaurant and ordering everything on the menu ( I kid...kind of sorta..) |

Clothes and shoes are my normal motivation. I lost and then gained back 30 lbs last year (so depressing - we moved across the country for a job that my husband hates, blah, blah, blah and I ate through the stress of everything). I'm back on the bandwagon to lose the 30 AGAIN this year and I've decided that if I maintain for at least a year I'm springing for the breast augmentation I've wanted to do for years. We have the money set aside but I think it will keep me very motivated to maintain. |

My half way point will be a new lens for my camera. If I get to goal before our trip to Africa, my reward will be a Tsavorite garnet. But reward only comes if I maintain for a month. |

I already bought a pair of earrings for when I loose the first 10 pounds. I thought I would be there already. I like the idea of earrings and setting small goals because it is more motivating. I need to loose more than 50 pounds and am looking forward to buying some cute clothes but am not going to wait until I loose it all. I love the idea of sexy underwear I know DH will love it to. I think I will have to do that when I loose say 30 pounds.
ETA: I love the idea of a day of beauty when I reach my goal. I would love to go and get a massage. I am going to have to remember that. |

This. Exactly this. I've never bothered to get jeans that weren't from Old Navy or Target before. I LOVE the heck out of a new pair of good jeans and i'm just as happy to get rid of them when they don't fit anymore. |

One was highlighting my hair; one was a tattoo; one was new underwear; one was a strapless dress. My last goal is a bikini |
