It's -15 degrees here and I'm craving comfort food. I'm having DD, SIL and two grandsons over for dinner tonight. We are having:
Roast beef
Roasted carrots
Mashed potatoes & gravy
Buttered corn

I didn't bake cookies this morning like I planned to so it's ice cream for dessert
What's cooking at your house today?

It's 72 here today, but pouring rain. So we're having lasagna soup.

We're having THE weirdest weather this week. Ice on Monday, 70 yesterday, 72 today with thunderstorms, snow on Friday.

Spaghetti (whole wheat pasta, ground turkey for the sauce), some type of veggie, garlic bread.

I'm wheat-free, so I'll just have the sauce on top of my veggies. I need to buy and cook some spaghetti squash!

Akathy- that sounds sooo good.

I am not feeling well so DH offered to cook. He is making chicken, pork and veggie kabobs on the grill. It's only 15 degrees outside, and he had to shovel a path to the grill, but I won't complain!

I want some sort of carbs, so I might throw some potatoes in the microwave to bake.

I just don't see why people think I'm too patronizing (that means I treat them as if they were stupid.)

Lazy Mama Dinner:

Popcorn chicken (baked)

We have often asserted and we affirm it yet again that no fact in history is better attested than the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It must not be denied by any who are willing to pay the slightest respect to the testimony of their fellow men. That Jesus, who died upon the cross, and was buried in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, did literally rise again from the dead. (excerpted from Dance Your Shoes Off, Second Baptist Church)
