I have a friend who loves herself and her ideas so much she pretty much believes she has invented, reinvented or created just about everything. She also thinks she is the first at everything and is the world's greatest leader, never a follower. Don't get me wrong, she's a great gal, she's just really self-absorbed. LOL!
Yesterday she was telling me all about this new thing that she's been doing. She's quite good at it and she has been really leading the way at it .... it's called Pinterest.
I just smiled and said, "Oh yeah, I've heard of that." I also realize that every creative thing she posts on her Facebook has been found on Pinterest for the past year. (She takes full credit for the ideas, of course.)
And just today she found me and followed me. I wonder if she is surprised by (a) the fact that I have ten zillion pins, (b ) my start-up time compared to hers and (c) the fact that I've been following HER for over a year now??

I have a friend just like that. I really giggle when I see her ideas on Pinterest or hear from someone she knows that they did the exact same thing two years before my friend did |

She probably didn't even notice any of that. Kudos to you for being kind enough not to call her out on her foolishness. | |

I was annoyed when my friend A asked on facebook what is pinterest and I explained to him. Well my other friend B, who met A once at my birthday party, saw this conversation and now is an avid pinterest user. |

That is so weird. Unless you happen to be like the person described in the OP, being annoyed at something like that is just plain silliness.
ETA: My friend's cousin's entire wedding was straight off of Pinterest. She's pregnant now...let the baby pins begin. |
