We were going to fix chicken and beef tacos for our party, and keep them warm in crock pots. How much meat do I need for around 30 people?

generally you want to aim to have 1/4 to 1/3 a pound of meat per person. If you have a lot of other options you can probably be ok at the lower end of the amount.

For a nacho bar at work yesterday, I made 3 lbs of beef mixed with one can of refried beans for 10-12 women. There was maybe a quarter of that left. There was also chicken, which was not used as much. Not sure how many lbs of that were prepared. I think I would do 10 lbs of beef and something less of chicken.
