Help a grandma out. My dd is sick, so I am filling in right now and dgd needs to have 100 of some item to take to school tomorrow that will be put into a snack mix for everyone to share. I am sure someone will be doing M & M's, probably a few, because that was what came to my mind first. Can you think of something that would be different but still appreciated? Looking around their kitchen the only thing I thought would work would be cheerios, but I plan to hit a grocery when I pick dgd up from school this afternoon.
Thanks peas! |

Duh! I have been out of the mommy practice for awhile obviously! Great easy suggestions. I'll be taking a quick list when I go get her and let her pick one at the grocery. Thanks. Just not something I have had to think about in a long, long time! |

We did popcorn.
Giant Eagle sells the pre-popped stuff in a big bag for under $3. |

Ummm, Teddy Grahams!
Or a big bag of those Stauffer's brand animal crackers, they also make the chocolate kind.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal or the store brand version of it like Cinnamon Toasters. | |

Thanks again everyone. I wrote out a list of everything that was mentioned before school let out and she picked mini marshmallows overwhelmingly. When we were at the grocry it got even better. They had three kinds, the basic white and the pastel mixed color ones we've all seen, plus....ones shaped like little ice cream cones with pink or brown scoops of icecream. Too cute! We had a good time counting out the 100, and eating any 'defective' ones! |
