This morning I received a phone call from my credit card company - someone has tried to do a transaction for $15000.00 from the credit card. They declined it
However, as they were cancelling my card, I asked for the transaction details - they came back with
Luxury Watches Inc, based in California.
I googled them - they look like a legit business....550 S Hill St, LA
so either someone has got my card details and is trying to spend up large OR this is a front, and not really a business.
Has anyone Californian peas done business with this company, or heard of this company???

Never heard of it. California is a huge state with a population of 35 million people so you might want to change your title to SoCal or Los Angeles Peas.

My guess is they made a new card using your info on the strip. So, it could be a legit business. But usually, they try small purchases first to see if the card works and goes through, say at a gas station. |

I don't know that business, but I work in the credit card industry and I can tell you that fraud happens to TONS of people, every single day. My card was used in Louisiana at a Walmart and I've never even been to Louisiana. I never lost my card, they recreate account numbers and make their own plastic. | |
