I fell in love with the aqua items they have out now. I LOVE that color. I have no experience with Fossil as a brand. I know the prices, but are they "cheap", do they hold up, etc? And, is it meant for a younger person or are they open to anyone? Thanks for your thoughts!!
Edited to add that I am looking at the Marlow Satchel or the Explorer Flap bag and the zip clutch wallet. |

They hold up very well, altho with heavy use the colors tend to fade, but I just call that aging.

I have a Fossil wallet and purse. To be honest, I don't recall the name of the style, but the wallet is a leather flip with the coin snap section.
It is by far the best wallet I have ever owned. I have had it for 7 or eight years now, and save for a little wear on the leather at the corners, it is in perfect condition.
The purse is also in great shape. I love that the lining is a heavy (and beautifully funky!) cotton- even some of my more expensive purses have the crappy polyester lining that eventually frays and rips.
I would buy another Fossil purse or wallet without hesitation. | |

I bought my husband a Fossil wallet 5ish years ago. It is just now starting to look worn. I've been very happy with every Fossil product I've bought (just watches and the 1 wallet).  |

I have tons...in fact i think i have the one you're describing. It has tiny ladybugs or beetles all over. I love it so much. It's sturdy, cute and laminated so dirt wipes right off. I was concerned it might be a little young, but its not. |

I have been carrying my everyday bag for 8 years. Still looks new. Love it. It's a crossbody bag, so I don't sit it on the floor, so it great. Leather, stitching, zipper...and I pack it tight since it is small.
Looking for another one, just haven't found the style/size I want, so I may have to go with another brand...and I hate that. |

I have 3, and they're amazing! I'm also not very careful with my bags, I'm prone to bumping into things myself so my bag gets the brunt of it. My one grey one (crossbody) got dyed at the back because of my blue jeans but that's the jeans fault and not the bags. Other than that I've never had a single problem with them.
I would say go for it! I bought mine to use forever and they've held up for 2 years already and still look nearly new! |

I love Fossil purses and wallets. They're all I buy now. They hold up really well and I get lots of compliments on them. I love that they're just slightly funky--like me!  |

I have a leather one that I have been using daily for two and a half years. It still looks brand new and I get complimented on it all the time. I am not careful with it. It gets rained on, snowed on, stepped on and shoved in a drawer at work every day. Best money I've ever spent on a purse. I also have a wallet that is older. Still looks pretty good. I would buy another in a heartbeat. Except that I still this one. | |

I only have one fossil item, a black leather wallet I bought in 2002. It has held up beautifully. I don't use it constantly but it's been used plenty through the years. |

I have a friend who works for Fossil.
Relic is a brand under the Fossil umbrella. Fossil also manufactures accessories for several other brands.

I Fossil! I have at least different Fossil accessories including a purse. They are very well made. I especially love my ipad sleeve. It works great with a ipad smart cover on your ipad.

I bought a Fossil purse 2.5 years ago and it won't age!! I forget the model name, but it has a pocket on the outside front and is leather, and I though "this purse will look even better as it ages" when I bought it... But it won't age I carry it every day, drop it, spill stuff on it, and not a mark... The lining and zipper have held up just as well too... They give a one year warranty on their purses (not sure about wallets, etc) and will give you a card for it when you buy the purse... Any damage that first year and they replace it... I don't think there's an age associated with them... Think the style and colour says more than the name about stuff like that... |

I am not young but I love Fossil. I only buy their wallets because they are organized in a way that works for me better than anything else. Everything I have bought from them has lasted forever. I highly recommend them.

I love my Fossil purse, but I have to say that the inside is a silk-like material and the pocket for my cell phone has torn away - I haven't abused it. It is a quick fix, however. | |

I own one. It did not hold up. The stitching on the handles unstitched in the first 7 weeks. It did not wear off it just unstitched like it hadnt been sewn properly to begin with. They were not helpful when contacted, their excuse was the purse was 6 months old, however i did not receive it when it was bought i received it on my birthday and it unraveled in less than 2 months of use. I won't buy another one. For the cost of the purse they should have stood by it, they didn't. I realize that mine was a lemon and it isn't their normal quality, however mine cost the same price as everyone else and I got a poorly made one. Every company can have a quality control issue but how they stand behind their product if/when it happens is a real measure of a company. For me Fossil didn't measure up.
Like I said I do realize they normally have a better quality, but for me I won't take that risk. | |

Have two and a keeper and adore them.
Currently saving for another.
Also,not young nor even middle-aged come to think about it.
But my DD 1 is and she has two and wallets to match and the most beautiful watch.

I have several Fossil purses and wallets. They are pretty much all that I buy now. I am 50 and I don't think they look too young (or I just don't care ) My dd17 has a Fossil purse that she loves and a cute new pink wallet. I prefer to shop the Fossil outlet, not only for price, but also because they have a much better selection and I personally don't care if they are from last season. Go for it!!! |

Fossil makes great bags and wallets. I've owned quite a few over the years and they've all heald up well.
My favorite is a purple hobo and matching orange and purple wallet. The leather is sooo soft! | |

I love love love Fossil with all my heart- the styles and patterns are great - BUT- I have had to return every canvas bag I have bought. They all begin to rip where the straps attach to the bag. I finally just decided never to buy another canvas bag but maybe keep trying the vinyl coated or leather ones. For the price - even though I buy most of mine on clearance from Macys!- the canvas bags do not hold up for me! I bought two small crossbodys for my daughter and I to take on an int'l trip. By the time we got home 3 weeks later, both bags had begun to tear and had to be ret'd - booooo!!! | |

I love my Fossil purse and I get a ton of compliments on it. I also have a watch, wallet, wristlet, and sunglasses from them and I like them all. The quality is good on every piece I have. DS and DH each have a briefcase and DS also has one of their men's watches and they also like the products a lot. | |
