I found out why my DH is taking so long to copy over the DVDs to the computer; instead of setting up and letting it go ....
He's been watching them!!!!! 
He even went back to previous ones to "catch up"
His excuse? "you said you wanted to watch it first with the Peas, then watch the series all at once."
He started to ask a question about Bates..... La la la I can't hear you

LOL. I am checking in here to see what you have to say, before the spoilers come along.
I have my DVDs but haven't watched them yet. Waiting for my overbooked sister to have time for a marathon. Meanwhile, my SIL is coming over for the day tomorrow because she wants to learn how to scrapbook. So sweet. I'm afraid when she finds out DA is here, she'll want to watch TV all day instead.  |

Isn't season three just on tv now? I started watching season one on Netflix and love it. I have two more episodes left and then what? I am recording season three right now but don't want to watch until I'm caught up. It seems that season two is not on Netflix yet. Is there anywhere to watch it besides buying the dvd's? |

I found out how to watch the entire current season online so that's exactly what I did in one sitting about two weeks ago and I've been going nuts not having anyone to talk to about it.
Then Tuesday I had DH grab me the DVD from Target and in the last two days I've watched season 3 AGAIN. And it still sucks not being able to say anything!!! Stupid show.
*SEMI SPOILER BELOW*
I think it was harder watching the last episode the second time just knowing what was going to happen. I got all weepy well before anything happened and still got mad at the end! Ugh. Why do they have to suck us into their make believe lives?!? |

I had read a spoiler about what was going to happen in the end, and it cast a pall over the entire season for me. 
OTOH, I didn't spoil it for my sister, but she says she suspected it from the beginning of the Christmas special. |

I picked up the DVDs when they were released, finished the series within a couple days and OMGoodness!! Did they really have to do that?!?!? I watched and had no one to go to for the WTH scream that ya gotta do after that Christmas episode. Saw tragedy coming but after Sybil's death didn't think they would do that. | |

How many episodes are there in Season 3? I think the 3rd (or was it the 4th) episode was just run. How many more are there? I'll be sad to see the last one for the season because it seems like it takes so long for the new season to start & also because the season is way too short.
Or maybe the fact that the season is short is one of the reasons why it seems so good.
Updated: Nevermind. There's a thread about the number of episodes. Looks like the answer is 8. |

Oh, no! I've been skimming through this thread (especially the post that said "possible spoilers" but saw the above toward the end. I can't imagine what that could be, but now I'm on pins and needles. I've been watching Series 3 on TV and I'm assuming there are probably about 2 or 3 more episodes til the end of the season? I have the DVD on order, to arrive within the week...but I won't watch it until Season 3 is over. I have the other two seasons on DVD. I think my sisters and daughter and I shall be having a weekly or monthly DA night!  |
