I love that my wedding band matches my hubbies. To me it reaffirms that we are bound together as one. 
I have a solitaire engagement ring and over the yrs we've had to change the setting as the gold and posts wear down. Right now, it's my original engagement diamond with 2 smaller diamonds on each side.
For our 20th anniversary, dh gave me an "eternity band" - a gold band with diamonds running around it.
I wear all three of my rings stacked on my ring finger. They represent his gifts and ongoing commitment to me through our 27yrs of marriage. 
My sil's set was all rubies and I though that was pretty cool for someone that wanted to be "different". | |

I'd be heartbroken too. My DH lost his first one in the surf as well. Luckily it was just a gold band. He got another one awhile later.

If you loved your ring why not have another one custom made just like it? I would if I lost my ring. The only thing I would change is instead of it being yellow gold I would want white gold or platinum. |

I am so sorry that happened. I would be sick if I lost my ring.
what you like most and least about your ring?
I love my ring. The only thing I really don't like about it is that it sits up so high. I just measured - it's a hair over 3/8 out from my finger. I constantly catch it in my hair. It doesn't fit comfortably in most gloves.
As much as I love my ring, I also love looking at other rings. I would probably get something completely different - cushion set maybe. Something on the side of the band. Have fun choosing! |
