We never watch the Superbowl here, but I love to see all the new commercials on YouTube.
The new Budweiser Clydesdale commercial had my oldest DD and I tearing up!
Anybody else? |

I did. I didn't think I would, but I did. I think the Chicago setting also made me a little more sentimental than I might have been.

As soon as it started, I was trying to find the Kleenex. I made it through the Jeep military salute and the farmer's tribute, but as soon as I saw the baby horse, I knew Budweiser had just done it again.
I started crying when the horse didn't acknowledge him on the first pass in the parade.

Glad I'm not alone.
And lynlam? I've watched it 3 times now, and teared up every time too!
In fact, when I was talking about the commercials with my oldest DD, and asked if she had seen the Budweiser one, we both started to tear up talking about it! |

Me. And I rarely cry at anything on tv or in a movie. It just got to me, probably because I just got my first horse and my life circumstances are changing and I may need to rehome him this spring. That commercial just got me. I've seen it four times now and I cry every darn time.

It got me! Sitting here with DH and our friend, I simply said "You've done it again Budweiser!"
They looked at me like I was nuts! |

I cried like a baby (like I always do)...it reminded me of Christian the Lion's reunion with his people. The only Clydesdale ad that got to me more was the 9/11 Tribute one. That was amazing!

Ugh yes. I'm gonna blame the baby hormones.
(And I was another who wondered why he sold the horse if he loved it that much). |

i thought he raised it specifically to be a part of the pulling team?
have you seen the one that didn't make the cut? with the donkey?
i liked it better...but it doesn't tug at the heartstrings and that, is apparently what people want

The guy is a trainer at the Clydesdale facility, not the actual owner.
Budweiser announced the name of the baby Clydesdale in the ad. Her name is Hope. The other Clydesdale that was born just minutes before Hope was named Stan in honor of Stan the Man Musial. |

No, but that kind of stuff doesn't make me tear up. I have three girls and they are not emotional at all (I mean never cry)! And it didn't make my husband tear up either.
Loved the m&m commercial!

Wait... what? That (or at least parts of it) were real? That wasn't just an actor? Off to google...
And yes, I teared up, and I don't even like horses.

I teared up every freakin' time I watched it. I am teaching commercials at school and showed some to my 8th graders. I started tearing up both times I showed it. Pathetic! |
