I am wanting to have memory bears made for some family members from my late FIL's clothes. There are tons of people online and on etsy that make them. I am kind of over whelmed by all the options.

So, have any of the peas used someone to have this done that they have been pleased with? Anyone I should avoid? I want ones 15-18" tall, about $80, and willing to do customizations. I don't have a date I need them by.

I'm asking here because the peas (collectively) know all and have been there done that and are the best source of accurate assessment of customer service, quality etc.

And Yeah, I saved this for Thrusday since I know all the regulars will be by to do a drama check at some point. No drama, but thanks in advance for the help.

I would go with Tammy Bears. She made me a bear from my husband's scarves. Her work is a bit expensive but totally worth it. She wanted to know about his personality so she could make the bear's expression more in keeping with who he was. She's awesome. Tammy Bears

And since I can never figure out how to put pictures in posts, here is my blog post about the bear, including pics of the bear she made for me: Gina Speak

Hello,

I got several bears made from Carrie Bears http://www.carriebears.com/

She was fantastic - so thoughtful, and helpful in answering all my questions. The bears are fantastic.
