I've had an iPad for the last year, and haven't really worried about syncing my calendar with it so much, since I mainly used it at home, and my desktop contained my calendar info in my palm desktop. I have an old Palm V PDA (not a phone) that I would sync with the computer and carry in my purse.
Well, now that I have an iPhone, I decided to shift all of my calendar entries to my outlook program, which can sync with my iTunes calendars. I spent a few hours inputting all the data. I couldn't figure out a way to import.
So, now I've got all my events in my Outlook calendar on my desktop. The problem is, when I sync calendars, events get duplicated. If I input something to my computer, it syncs to my iPad and iPhone. But if I put an event in my iPhone or iPad, it will get added to my computer calendar, then when it syncs, it will be listed twice on my iPad and iPhone calendars.
I've had episodes where I've edited the time of an event on my phone, then ended up with the same event listed 3 times!
What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure how I did it, but I hope someone can solve your problem.

I'd love to know this as well because I had the same problem. I ended up giving up on Outlook as my main calendar because of this issue. I still input important stuff on my desktop (because the calendar is linked to My Day on my computer desktop which lets me see things at a glance at all times), but use Google Calendar for everything else.
It annoys me to have to input everything twice, although I do like that Google Calendar can be accessed by family who don't have i-products.

I'm watching and waiting for an answer, too. I've got Outlook at work and I'd love to sync it to my i-phone.

I use gSyncIt on my work computer to sync my Outlook calendar for Google Calendar and then have my iPod Touch and iPad pull my calendar from Google. I only run a one-way sync from Outlook to Google because I don't want my personal stuff on my work calendar. My Google Calendar had multiple calendars in it: work (main calendar which syncs from outlook), personal, birthdays & anniversaries, my martial arts calendar, and then I also sync my rugby clubs google calendar and the public US Holidays calendar.
