Here's a snowstorm story for you all...My DF's DD's water broke a little after 1 am. The storm was in full swing with blizzard conditions. The car was covered in ice. They live 3 blocks from the hospital. They made a good choice and walked to the hospital. They arrived at the hospital at 1:25 and their beautiful healthy boy was born at 1:47!!! Unbelievable!!! |

My dh wants to call CNN when he gets the sniffles...
"No, baby, you don't understand. These sniffles are so much worse than the pneumonia you just got over."
This is why men don't have babies. Sister must walked 3 blocks through a blizzard with a head coming out of her whoo-ha.

At least she only had 3 blocks and could do it. That would be so scary if she didn't live near a hospital and was home alone. A great story for the baby book!
How scary for all the people who can't get to the hospital when they have a medical emergency. That's the first thing I think of when parts of the country get hurricanes, floods, snow.
