Our first thread for "Sewing Crafts with Felt, Holiday Sewing and Quilting".
It's March, so I'm thinking Shamrocks! Any St. Patrick's Day projects going on in the sewing or quilting arena? How about Spring? Anyone working on something for Spring?
I'll start with St Pats Day. Here's a quilt I pinned for this thread.
Here something for those of us who sew...a cute shamrock to sew on a shirt.

I'm thinking about getting the kit for this Sweetwater tablerunner. Did a lot of their cute label crew projects--easy to finish in an hour which is all I seem to have for sewing these days.
Found the kit at the Sweetwater shop.
ETA: the label crew kits were easy to sew in an hour--this quilt would definitely take a little longer! | |

Love that runner! I just ordered a fat quarter pack of that Sweetwater Noteworthy fabric today. No idea what I will do with it. |

Love that table runner! I had a look in their store and fell in love with the Mama Says Sew line. I love the red, grey and black 
Not sewing anything for St Patricks Day - in the UK we don't celebrate it to the same extent as here, plus it is my DS's birthday, so we tend to stick with that 
I have been doing some holiday sewing though - Christmas stockings I picked up some Bucilla felt stocking kits on sale, and have had fun putting them together. I am on my third stocking now I think I will treat myself to a tree skirt kit over the summer |

No projects planned right now, but I do have a felt board on pinterest that I look at for my felt fix! |

Love those felt slippers!
I have a week and a half off starting Thursday so am hoping to work on valences for the dining room and a roman blind for the kitchen. Have some small projects cut out and a quilt to pin that I might try to fit in too.
Since I also have plans to hang out with my kids, deep clean my house and catch up on a few chores, I'll be happy if I get just one sewing project done!! | |
