I need some ideas to throw a Rockstar themed birthday party. We host a family/friend party at the same time. (Kids ages range from 4 to 9.) So, I need ideas to keep everyone engaged for 2 hours. (The birthday girl will be 9.)
Thanks.

We bought the cardboard guitars from Oriental Trading and the kids decorated with puffy paint, gems, etc.
Bring out the wii rock band guitars, drums, microphones & let the kids made a music video.
Different colors of hair chalk.
Photo booth with stars cut out on the backdrop.
I made a playlist on the ipod & each person got a piece of paper numbered. They had to write down what the name of the song was while I skipped through them.
For favors we did sunglasses, lipgloss (shaped like a star) and pop rocks candy. | |

We did that theme for my older dd's 10th. We had karaoke and the craft was a picture frame they made - I took/printed a picture of each girl singing and put it in the frame before they left. We had fake tattoos and hair extensions for them to put on as well, and a bunch of inflatable guitars for them to play around with. I also made a t-shirt with each girl's name inside an Ed-Hardy-style tattoo-looking design - individualized for each girl - as their favor (very time consuming, but the shirts were a big hit). |
