I've been checking sc-s.com for swag codes, and it looks like there hasn't been one for a couple of days. If the sc-s website no longer a reliable way to find the codes, or has there really just not been one for a while? Thanks!

I don't think there's been one for a couple days. There was just some chatter about it on their Facebook wall a little while ago.

I don't know if you are aware, but they updated the toolbar and there's a "check for code" button you click and it gives you a clue where to look. It's been reliable for me, but some on their FB wall have complained it's not accurate for them.

There wasn't a code yesterday, there were some earlier this week. They're getting pretty chintzy on the search wins, too - 6s and 7s this week.

I've had a hard time getting surveys lately too. That was primarily how I was earning SBs before but it's been slim pickings recently.

I do the watch videos on my cell phone and on the website. They both count. But I am not getting the points I used too.
What do you know, just got 12 bucks for a search!

I don't get surveys anymore. It seems like once I hit 40 they are no longer interested in what I have to say! I only get swag bucks from searches, the daily poll and NOSO, and the tv. I average one amazon gc a month doing it this way.

I still do them but I just do the tv thing a few times a day and the daily points. I look for codes occasionally but just when I think about it. I do searches but have found I don't get points very often and I get better results from Google.

I usually run the mobile app on my iPad or phone. That's good for 50 points a day. The other thing they changed with the toolbar that makes it easier to earn point is putting the SBTV on there. You can leave it running on the side of your desktop while you waste time here or anywhere on the internet. That maxes at 150 points a day--I never get close to that with it because I don't have that kind of time, but it's an easy way to rack up point while I surf elsewhere.

I am having better luck with surveys than in the past. I usually get one a day if I attempt them. I don't do that everyday--only as time permits.

I'm another one whos luck seems to have dried up. 6 or 7 on a search that took forever to get, no surveys anymore, rare to find a code. Hardly seems worth it anymore. I think I may get to my next amazon card then stop.

I still use the swagbucks search when I'm searching online for something. And if I happen to see something posted on my FB feed about a code, I'll check it out. But I don't stalk their wall anymore watching for them. And I don't do the other ones anymore either (surveys, NOSO's, polls, videos, etc).

I read that something is wrong with the code generator. There has been codes for other countries that I believe was suppose to be us.

Does using sbtv on the toolbar allow you to watch without clicking after every video? It would be nice to not have to click every single video.

Reading this reminded me I haven't done it in forever, so I popped over to check it out and the whole site looks different! I did a search and got 15, but maybe they know it's my first time back in a while??? Anyway, time to make it a daily stop again for a bit!

I search on it a lot, and do the daily poll and NSO, but I've not been able to watch videos with a recent computer operating system switch, and I never get surveys so I stopped trying for them.

I've started doing it again pretty regularly. I do NOSO, Daily Poll, Search and Win, and Mobile TV. If I have time to do more, I do, but even if all I did was Mobile TV (I set it to run overnight), I get $15 a month. But so far, I've been able to get $25-$30/month. I'm saving them for Christmas.

There was another code for four later on this evening.

Delphinium - if you're going for Amazon Gift Cards, be sure you plan ahead because you can only get five of the cheapest ones per month. If you've got a lot of points, don't wait until December because you'll end up wasting them.

Swag Bucks still rocks my world. I love getting those Amazon codes and putting them in my account.

iRazoo is eh. But I ADORE InstaGC . Easy to earn points, you get lifetime referral points, gift cards arrive instantaneously, and there are no limits. Yay!

There's an App called Swagbucks Mobile TV. I have an iphone and a droid tablet and there are apps for both, so I assume there is one for droid phones, too.

The app plays their TV (their own videos). You pick a channel and you let it go. You can earn up to 50 swagbucks per day through a mobile app. I put mine on at night before I go to bed and when I wake up, I have my 50 swagbucks, assuming the app doesn't time out (which right now, is often, but didn't used to be, so hopefully it will be fixed). So roughly,
50bucks per night x 30 nights = 1500 bucks
Divided by 450 points per $5 Amazon Card = 3.33
3 x $5 =$15 Amazon Cards per month, plus some left over points

My hubby does it too on his own account so between the two, we get about $30 in Amazon cards per month, if the mobile app is all we do.

The cool thing about the mobile app is that you don't have to manually advance to the next video like you do on their website videos, nor are there any captchas.

FYI-The best bang for your buck are the $5 Amazon Gift Cards (they're 450 points for $5 instead of 1000 points for $10 like the others). But, you can only request 5 of those per month, and a max of 2 per day. So if you have a ton of points sitting there, it may take you a while to redeem them. All the other rewards can be redeemed an unlimited amount of times.

I just uploaded the app and it has been running for a while but am not seeing my points go up. Also I didn't see a way to change the videos I just see movie trailers - is there a way to get shorter videos as these are all more than 2 mins. It is also weird that on the iPhone you don't see your points. would love an easier way to rack up some points though. I have quite a few kindle books I want but am cheap and hate to pay for them or use my very hard earned points for them. If this app works and I end up with $15 a month I will be a very happy camper.

Patti-are you using the Tablet App or the Phone App? The phone app has more categories. I run the health ones on the phone-the category tends to be stable, and the videos are pretty short. On the tablet, the comedy ones are pretty short.

You have to watch 5 videos to get 2 points. So you won't see your points go up immediately, and sometimes the meter on the device app doesn't work (you're getting points, just the meter doesn't change)--check your actual SB account on a computer. You'll see a ledger entry for "SBTV Mobile" or something like that.

I am using the phone app and finally figured out how to see different videos. I just switched to health and hope they go faster. It also asked me to hit enter after I got two points so maybe the latest version is sneakier. I just want to get points a bit faster and not have to constantly click on the next video.

I just watched a health video and then it popped up again with the little swagbucks logo and wanted me to press enter because I got 2 points then it went back to movie trailers - I fixed it and am back to health but we will see. It looks like they may have changed something and now you can only get two points without clicking on it. There is a 9 second delay between videos if you don't press anything but if I see it I click it but the one after you get two points is the one that bugs me. I guess I will just have to wait and see. So far I am liking this better than the regular ones.

Ok I was just impatient you can just let it go - I thought maybe the latest version changed things since that is what happened on the pc version a while back. I hope this continues to work this way for a long time.

Clicking "ok" just saves you the 9 second delay. If you don't click it, it will automatically advance for you when the seconds are up. It looks like you figured that out, but I thought I'd clarify for anyone else.

I guess I'll have to try the mobile app- the regular swag bucks are definitely much slower than they used to be. It's hard to get any decent sb just from searches.... I still do the coupons and shopping when I can though.

Don't give up on searches. I think today is the day they give more points for them as I just got 26 points for a search when I refreshed my screen on the search results screen - I was just checking to see if my mobile points were adding. I have had the mobile app crash about 5 times this morning while it worked just fine last night. I am really looking forward to getting some points with the mobile app.

About the mobile app...beware of a problem I had a couple months ago. I started running the videos on my iPhone at home, so it was running on wifi. I fell asleep and the app glitched and spent the night trying to load the video. Apparently, I learned from ATT and from searching online, my phone shifted into 3G when it "went to sleep" and from a data standpoint, it was like running video for 7 hours. I used almost my entire month's worth of data overnight. I usually only run it on my iPad now (which is wifi only).

PeaCan Pie:

No--you need to click--usually after the video has run for about 40-50 seconds. I run this when I am surfing anyway.

MissJen, I have a couple questions for you. If you reach your daily goal, do you still try to get more bucks? Do you always cash out for the $5 GC? I have cashed out for higher denominations just cause I can't cash out for the $5 GC. Thanks!

Yes, I always cash out for the $5 first. In February, I ended the month with about 700 bucks, so on March 1, I cashed out again. But this month, I hit my 5 limit by March 10 or 12, and I have 700+ bucks again, so I think I will cash out for something else (either a paypal card or a higher Amazon Card), because at this rate, I would never catch up to the 5 per month.

Yes, sometimes I try to keep going after I make goal-just depends on what else I'm doing that day on the computer.

Good luck, BoCropCrop! I cashed out in January for a new table for our nook AND a small white cabinet for my kitchen. I'm already back up to $184 with $45 on order. Just enough for the underwater camera that's tops on my wish list!

I really do love both Swag Bucks and InstaGC
