My kid's school is having a fundraiser with Schwan's. I've never ordered anything from there. What do you like from there?

I love Schwans! They are a little pricey, but I have found the quality to be worth it. I like the Spicy Chicken Breasts....I usually fix them on a bun. They remind me of Wendy's. I also get the grilled salmon, blackened chicken Alfredo (just like Cajun chicken pasta at Red Lobster). The southwestern lime chicken is good (I don't know if I'm getting the names exactly right, but it's close enough you can find it in the catalog), and I like the pepperoni pizza....I usually dress it up a little with more toppings and extra cheese. Their ice cream is good, and the limited edition chocolate caramel cheesecake they have right now is awesome!

I don't think you can much go wrong! LOL!

Or did you mean actual food? If the latter, I'm no help!

I have recently ordered and liked the seasonal special for a full rack of ribs.
I'm a fan of most of their ice cream but yesterday I bought Sea Salt Caramel Cashew and I didn't like it.
I find their meals to be better than their appetizers.

They have a raspberry lemonade that is good but if you put Vodka in it, it's spectacular!

I also love their Ice cream cookie sandwiches but i swear I start buying them and then I gain 5lbs, so be warned.

nothing, and I don't buy any of their frozen stuff at the supermarket. My money is better spent elsewhere....

I would just donate the amount of money you were going to spend to the school

Nothing. I learned a long time ago, once you buy one thing, you can never get rid of them.

They have their stuff at the supermarket?? I've never seen it there. I wish I could find it there so I don't have to wait....they only come by my house every two weeks.

That's funny. A truck comes through our neighborhood every once in a while and just sits on each block. Is that what they normally do?

I won't make eye contact, lol.

I don't know what they do everywhere, but I started buying from them because they came to my high school (several teachers are customers), and I tried some things and liked them. When summer came, I asked to be added to the route at my house, so they stop by every two weeks. I know they have another customer two doors up from me, but not sure who else.

They don't sit in the neighborhood, though. As far as I can tell, they just come to our houses then leave.

she is think Swanson's not Schwan's from the truck. There Ice cream cones are to die for.

I have quite a few learing disabilitys that effect my spelling a grammer. I do know my grammer and spelling suck. I have been working on this problem all my adult life.

Most items from Schwan's are really good. My driver comes only once a month per my request. Next time I'll have to buy some ice cream treats since the weather is finally warming up.

My oldest daughter did this for a band fundraiser last month and she had about $500 in sales just from me putting order forms in our work lounge. People were happy to have the option to order things without having someone stop at their home and it makes for an easy dinner. We ordered the sundae cones and they were great. We had the chicken Kiev a couple nights ago and it was good, so were the chicken enchiladas. We bought a box of corn dogs so the kids could make quick meals for themselves. The tempura shrimp was good.

I'd much rather order something like this and get a meal out of it rather than get an expensive box of chocolates that I didn't want in the first place.

Their vegetables are very good. The asparagus spears are especially awesome. Whole spears, not the broken bits you get when you buy frozen from the store. They also have an omelet...I can't remember what it's called right now...but it's low fat, low calorie and great to have on hand for the mornings when I am rushed.

I like most things that we've purchased. Favorites are the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Garlic Chicken Flatbread. The Orange Chicken Skillet however is disgusting.

We buy their breakfast bagel things, with sausage and eggs in them.

And they have a seasonal lemon cream pie that is delicious.

Occasionally I will get a tub of chocolate chip ice dream for dh.

Other than that everything is so processed and expensive, it just doesn't even appeal to me.

I order the green beans, asparagus, biscuits, chicken breasts, and peanut butter cup ice cream. The peanut buttercup ice cream is like crack to me and I sometimes hide from the Schwann's guy so I'm not tempted! He's like "you want some 369? you know you want it."
We aren't fans of the pre made dinner type things they offer but I know a lot of people really like them.

The schwan's own various frozen food companies. Red baron, tony's, freschetti's, pagoda express and Mrs smith's.

I would not be surprise if they had an interest in swason food.s
