I have not/will not buy the cookie butter.......... but I have loved everything I have bought there. Ours is an hour away and has only been open about a year , but I love spinach tortellini, onion rings, gummy bears, the fruit nut mixes are awesome, chicken salad, and I just bought the tea tree oil face cleaner (pads) and I am in love with them.

Mmmm, I love their cookie butter.

I've been happy with most of my TJ purchases. Here are some recent items we've enjoyed:

Frozen Mini Tacos and Burritos
Frozen Corn Dogs
Sparkling Pink Lemonade
Cashew, almond and chocolate snack mix
Maple Leaf cookies

The ready made salads sold in their refrigerated section are great, too. I had one last weekend with Asian slaw, chicken, and Asian dressing that was delicious. I also love their produce and fruit.

I just went for the first time too. We got some premade salads (delicious), peanut butter cups, brown rice that you can just microwave for 3 min, orange chicken, hummas, pita chips, and carne asada. All was very good.

I went into Trader Joe's a couple of months ago in search of Cookie Butter and couldn't find it. Is it seasonal? The Trader Joe's was pretty small (I don't know how big the store normally is) Maybe they don't all carry it? If I was going to find it, what should it be near?

ETA: if I hate Nutella, am I going to hate Cookie Butter too?

At our TJ's you have to ask for it at the customer service desk. I have no idea why! It has only been open about two years here! Love all of their nuts, sunflower seeds, snack mixes, fresh flowers, and just about everything! My favorite thing... Dark chocolate covered almonds with sea salt! Yum!

I know I must be weird but I threw my cookie butter in the trash. I ate a spoonful or two and felt sick to my stomach. It was gross. I think it was too rich for me or something too.

I love it as a dip for pretzels. Salty and sweet. Yum.

Also, I cannot handle Nutella and love Cookie Butter.

I won't buy the cookie butter...sounds gross to me.

I love the creamy cilantro dressing and it is low fat too. The organic blue corn tortilla chips are tasty and my husband can eat the kona shortbread cookies by the box full. TJ's frozen brown rice is a staple in our kitchen and when I was still drinking wine (before chemo) the Charles Shaw label (the old Two Buck Chuck)is really very good.

Add a couple of tablespoons when you make rice krispie treats--adds a nice spicy flavor.

TJ's is more gingerbread-y than Biscoff, IMO.

Dark chocolate covered almonds with sea salt!

These alone make me glad there is not a TJ's close to me here.

All I did was google "cookie butter" and I received a page full of descriptions, ingredients and even pictures.

Google celebrated it's 15th birthday last week, you sure wouldn't know it.

I bought some cookie butter, tasted it ,and meh, wasn't impressed. It sat in my pantry for a good 6 months or so before I threw it away.
Salt Lake City has had a Trader Joe's for a year or so. I have gone there only once...and it was so crowded that I couldn't even see the shelves. I bought some of their famous orange chicken, and we didn't like it.
So many people are crazy about TJ"s...I don't get it

I agree on the taste being off. Get some real Speculoos or Bischoff spread and call it good. We eat it on anything, but I prefer the spoon.

This seems like a stupid thing to like from TJs but their pizza sauce is awesome. We also get their olive oil tortillas. They bake awesome.
