My first world problem thread turned into a vent thread the other day, so I thought we could use one. My neighbors are having work done on their house today. Workers decided to start today at 7am. On my first Saturday to sleep in for months! Vent over.

Went to the post office today. We have a lane where you can drop your mail in the box or you can park and go into the post office. There is a lot in front if the PO, and another a bit further away. So today I was just dropping off. I was in the lane and pulled up to the boxes. Some incredibly lazy person rather than parking in the lower lot, pulled in and parked in the drop off lane! I had to drop off my mail and back up to get around thus stupid parked car! I actually called the PO to let them know. It just amazes me how thoughtless and lazy people can be!!!

The cost of clothes for teenagers. DS has gotten taller (again!) but much thinner. All his pants are baggy and short.

I asked DH to pick up a piece of fried chicken from the grocery store. I was craving fried chicken. He brought home a piece of grilled chicken. I ate it, and I appreciate home getting it whole he was out, but I really wanted that crispy, crunchy you get with fried chicken.

I called to confirm with my sitter that she would be available tonight so I could attend dinner after a training. She forgot about an all-day volleyball tournament. And my kids are behaving terribly so the last thing I want to do is reward them with a trip to a restaurant.

Had a migraine today that just done me in. So I wasted a beautiful day trying to sleep it off. It's still somewhat there? But obviously I'm ok enough to be on here. Tried to get some work done on my pretties, but when I have a migraine, I can't cut out my paper pretties, as it looks like my 7yr old did it. So I am just sitting here like a useless blob.

I hate migraines. This one is thanks to a storm front that should hit us around midnight. I AM the weather man. Ha!

OMG! Are we neighbors?!? Apparently our across-the-street neighbors are having some kind of construction done--and they decide to start on Saturday morning? That early?!? We're in a court, so the sound just echoed in our bedroom.

After being woken up by the next-door neighbors' dog starting to bark at 4:30 a.m. yesterday morning when the kid left for work (and left the dog out in the side yard--right under our bedroom window) and barking til the dad let him in at 7, I'm a little sleep-deprived. And CRANKY!!!

I had umbilical hernia surgery Wednesday. Got 10 staples that keep getting caught on whatever I am wearing and the gauze I put over it. It hurts already and pulling pieces of gauze out of it doesn't help.

I need some other kind of surgical pad.
Oh, and now my belly button looks like a big frowny face.

People that say they are bored!!! I have so many things I want to see and do and so many books I want to read and so many pictures I want to scrap. I am afraid that I will never get it all done. I cannot imagine ever being bored.

My husband has an out of town gig. He showed up to find out he was getting paid half what he was promised and the rooms they tried to give the band were absolutely horrible. Picture road side rent by the hour motel. Not what it was, but it sure looked and smelled like it. gross. They did get better rooms, but they had to fight to get them. They didn't get more money.

When you ask someone a question and they answer you with one-word answers and don't make eye contact, please take the cue that they might not want to talk about the subject.
So thanks nosy old lady for continuing to press me about my father's death. I don't really know you and it's none of your business if it was unexpected or not.
Also, thank you to a special friend for running interference for me.

I wish my SIL would get a clue...we don't owe you anything (far from it), stop asking for stuff and then being a total bitch when we say no. You're 47 and my DH is your baby brother, it is not his job to take care of you, we've helped as much as we can or should have too. Oh and saying nasty stuff about me to your brother isn't going to get you anywhere, he is going to defend me and then he will tell me what you said.

I'm having a Bad Hair Day accompanied with Super Bloat. Actually, it's not just a day of this, but more like weeks. So, I've been having an I'm-fat-and-ugly pity party that is driving my DH crazy because I refuse to leave the house. Or do much of anything, really.

been doing pt for 2 months and the pain has not gotten any better. I hurt more then I did be for. I would just like my body back and my life back.

Baby M there is this thing call nap time. No we will not go away if you sleep no nothing big will change. Trust mommy when she tell you sleep is better then watching her clean house.

I have quite a few learing disabilitys that effect my spelling a grammer. I do know my grammer and spelling suck. I have been working on this problem all my adult life.

Do I have a migraine?

Long day Friday. Poor food. Not enough to drink. Four hours out in midday sun, another 3 hours taking pictures that night. To bed late.

Headache all day Saturday. Volleyball tournament lasted until 5. Crap to eat. Dehydrated again.

This morning was able to eat but my head is killing me. Hungry, but I know whatever I eat will come back up. Can't drink either, even though I know dehydration is probably the root of all of this. Ack. Hate to waste my Sunday, but I think I won't be able to do much feeling like this.

Dear care home, you assessed FIL and said he was suitable for your environment. You are the professionals and you know his mental condition. You are being paid thousands of pounds a month to care for him so please do just that and CARE FOR HIM. Please don't ring my 82 year old MIL and tell her that you cannot cope with her husband - what is she supposed to do?

Today, I will be colouring outside the lines.
