Whose going shopping bright and early? We are going at 4:30 a.m. But not really looking for anything special. It is just tradition for us girls to go! What are you looking for?

I went Thanksgiving night. Didn't stand in line or anything. We headed out at a little after 8pm, after all the stores were pretty much open, and were home by midnight. We started at Target and bought a bunch of DVDs all for $4 or $6 each (Warm Bodies. Gatsby, The Purge, and Pitch Perfect), PJs for my dd and ds, Taboo board game, and a wireless mouse. The store was crowded but everything was so organized and run so well--it was pretty impressive. After that we headed to Ulta and I bought my dd an Urban Decay Dangerous palette and two mini bottles of nail polish. After that we headed to Macys and bought two purses for dd ($19.99 each), two shirts for ds (one for $9.99 and one for $19.99) and four pillows for us. Last stop was Old Navy where I bought a pair of skinny jeans, a flannel shirt and a thermal for dd.
We headed home after. I've done a bunch of shopping online in the last week, so I'm very far along with all of my shopping.
It actually wasn't bad at all. I was really unhappy about Black Friday starting on Thanksving at so many stores, but the stores opened late enough in the day that it didn't infringe on our holiday plans. Now it's kind o fnice knowing that Friday is all ours to just lay around and relax.

I did some online shopping on Kohls and Joanns. Tomorrow morning I'm taking my mom to a craft show up in Franklin for a couple of hours. Supposed to be a big one and really nice. Other than that, I will be working long hours this weekend. I have a ton of orders to make.
Never mind, I forgot what I was going to say.

We went out this week to buy bras at VS but decided to wait and buy them online today but they didn't have the styles my dd picked out - so we'll be there when they open at midnight. I'm not really doing it to save the $$, but to get the bras she picked out. I wish I had just bought them right then. errrr.
XOXO, Kristi ~

First time I've ever bought anything IRL on Black Friday. Just wanted one thing -- a music keyboard for DD. Normally $169, on sale at Guitar Center for $69. Called on Wednesday and learned that they had 24 in stock. Got to the store at 5:55 for the 6 a.m. Opening, and there was a huge line! But the employees were awesome. They let in about 20 people at a time, gave them time to spread out, then let more in, thus avoiding a bottleneck.
They had one guy stationed at the door to point people in the right direction. I walked to the center of the store and an employees walked by. I asked him where this thing was, and he led me right to it. I never would have found it. Ten minutes later, I had checked out, the guy brought the keyboard to my car, and I was on the way home.

|Posted: 11/29/2013 9:42:41 AM|Today was the first time I've headed out on Black Friday, but not near a mall, I went to a furniture store. They had an extra 20% off from 9pm-12am yesterday, and then again from 6am-9am this morning. Too tired to head out last night, so I went this morning. I bought some new living room tables.
