Do they have to be cartons? You can buy organic milk in juice box like containers, I've seen them with the aseptic milk, like parmalat, or in the dairy section or in the produce area, they are anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar a box, the brand I've seen the most is horizon.

Each year, I do a massive cookie fest for dh's office. Last year, one of the guys made a joke about dh forgetting the milk. I decided then that I had to send some this year and then promptly forgot to do any research.

I thought it would be cute to send a milk carton in for each guy (no food allergies and they'll eat/drink whatever I send) with a bagged cookie attached.

You should be able to find Horizon Organic milk singles at the grocery store...they come in regular, vanilla or chocolate. At our store they are sold along by the juice boxes. They don't need to be refrigerated.

You can also buy small school lunch like cartons in the grocery store (those will need to be kept refrigerated.)

My grocery store used to sell them as singles, and they used to have six-pack of half-pint bottles... but I honestly haven't looked lately.

Sometimes you'll find them in the grab-n-go sections of deli sections.

If worse comes to worse, you can probably get small containers at McD's. (I think they have the half pint bottles, but I am not sure if that varies by region.)

I think the refrigerated ones would work best. Sounds like a trip to the fancy Kroger's is coming!

Thanks for the McD suggestion. I'd forgot about them!

Do you have kids in elementary school to have any connections there? I'd call the school cafeteria & ask if they'd sell you some or find out where they get them. hth

Thanks everyone. I'll call around today and see who has what. I really wanted the small paper cartons, but now I'm thinking the small bottles might work best. Hmmmmm......

Our Costco has the small bottles of both white and chocolate milk. DD's hockey team gets them for after tournament games.

The school district will likely sell them to you. And it's much cheaper than buying them in a market

Our Walmart sells mini cartons of chocolate milk.
And, it's way cheaper than my kids can buy from their school.
