I've looked at the Purity Made Simple so many times but never tried it because I didn't want to like it and pay more. I've been using Olay for Sensitive Skin and Michael Todd Organics - I can't use anything with dyes or fragrance.

But I had a coupon to use at Ulta and grabbed the travel size of the Purity Made Simple. And dang it - I love it so far! It even took off my waterproof mascara with no problem and so far, no sensitivity.

I'm going to keep using it and then use up everything else I have. Then I might break down and buy the ginormous 32 oz pump bottle off QVC.

Have you guys had anything you put off trying because you were afraid you would love it?

Welcome to the club!

Love that stuff! Removes even the most stubborn "bulletproof" mascara (I use Mally's) and sunscreen. I ordered 2 32 ounce bottles from QVC and am in Purity heaven for many months, years, to come.

And I just ordered and tried Fresh Cream - oh lawd so good!

Love Purity Made Simple!! I get the 32 oz. bottle along with the 32 oz. Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash from QVC every eight months on auto-delivery. I have tried a lot of facial cleansers over the decades. Purity is my favorite.

Sweet Dreamer - I saw that set on QVC. Do you use one in morning and one at night? Or how do you use each one?

Not marzbar but I use both products. I wash in the morning with the exfoliating wash then Purity at night as I remove my makeup then if I wore it that day.

My skin loves both of these products. The exfoliator is soooo gentle. But I just cannot use the cleanser cause my nose HATES the smell. Like lemon Pledge...yuck.

Has anyone found the quality to differ from QVC to say Sephora? I bought a huge bottle of Amazing Grace lotion and it smells "off".

Sorry, I didn't answer sooner. I usually use the Purity in the morning. At night, I usually wash with some Purity and then with the exfoliating wash. I feel like the Purity washes off make-up and the exfoliating wash takes care of anything that might be left over. And, that it makes it easier for my moisturizer to do its job.

I didn't like Purity, it didn't make my skin feel clean. It felt like a coating on there.

I love that stuff. It's one of the few cleansers that doesn't give me "tight face." I also like their Take a Deep Breath moisturizer. It's really light. I like the gel moisturizer and I don't like to wear anything with sunscreen at night.

I am out in the sun quite a bit and sunscreen is so stubborn to get off at the end of the day. I haven't found anything that really does a good job. Does the Philosophy really clean it all off without having to scrub yourself raw?

Yes it removes sunscreen and or liquid foundation but I always use my Clarisonic coupled with my Purity when washing.

Thank you!

I will put it on the list of things to try. My skin hates everything (I get that "tight" feeling like others have said) and the few products that don't make it feel that way will not remove the sunscreen.

I totally bought into the Philosophy line. I ordered all that I could from QVC (thanks to several TSVs) and haven't used it in a while. I do love it but just don't use it. I just use a basic face wash and cream nothing fancy and I am happy with that.

I do love my Philosophy "stuff" though!

Welcome to the club!

Maybe it's me, but I don't seem to need to use as much as I would the other brands, and it seems to last longer, so that makes up for the higher price. And I love the smell. It seems I get more sensitive to smells as I get older.

I love the Purity made simple. I have very sensitive skin, and I love that it takes off eye makeup without irration at all.

I just started using Hope in A Jar.....so far, love it.

Cleansers shouldn't strip off all the natural oil in your skin and make skin feel dry and tight. That's shy products like Pond's cold cream have been so popular for such a long time. It removes dirt and cosmetics without removing the skin's natural oils.

I use Boots No7 sensitive skin wipes to remove dirt at night and use Purity with these cloths if I need a more thorough deep cleansing. I then rub on a moisturizing, anti aging serum and then eye cream and face moisturizer.

My favorite night moisturizer is Philosophy Hope in a Jar for night. It is creamy enough for my extra dry skin and the natural botanicals have even helped the area where I had basal cell shrink and disappear. When I went to my dermatologist to schedule MOHs surgery to remove the area, it had healed so well by itself that she said surgery was completely optional and needed only for cosmetic purposes. Since it takes me a long time to heal and no one could see the area anymore, she gave me her blessing to just leave the area alone.

I'm not a big fan of Philosophy's scented creams. The makeup primer, The Present, made me look ultra pale as well. It was hard to get that to sink into my skin. I prefer to use my daily moisturizer and then Shishedo sunscreen as face primer. I also carry Peter Thomas Roth mineral sunscreen in my handbag to reapply throughout the day and when I perspire to keep a good layer of sunblock on my face.
