My best friend and I have never taken a vacation together. We are seriously contemplating a scrapbooking cruise next Feb/Mar. I have no idea what to expect. Has anyone been on one? If you have please tell me all about it! We would probably do digital scrapbooking if that matters.

My friend and I took one.If was not worth the extra money. Unless you have been on the countries the ship dock in and your hostess is there all the time to do activities and stuff dont do it.

I've taught on one and it really depends on who is doing it, and who will be there.
Is it hosted by a store or a company or an independent contractor? Who are the instructors? What companies are sponsoring the classes?
How do you handle cruising in general?
Those are big things to take into consideration whether it will be worth it or not.

The cruise I was on was up the Eastern seaboard, was for a large online store and was well sponsored. The girls came home with great projects and lots of bonus products.

Personally, even though I was working, I had a blast. I would have had a blast if I wasn't.
Just do your homework.

Well Peas, I believe this thread has gone Thrusday.

I haven't been on a scrapbooking cruise, but have been on several cruises, several being the Disney cruises, all itineraries, one even being a very rainy foggy one to Canada.
Personally, I can't see myself going into a room to scrap when there is so much to do (or not do if the sun is shining bright) on the ship. JMHO.

I have hosted scrapbooking cruises and it's hard!

The first one was amazing we scrapped all day/night but took breaks for shows and when we docked the crop room was open if anyone wanted to crop but we all left for the events. Come and go as you please...

Last cruise was a scrapping cruise we didn't have enough sign ups for scrappers to have them give us the board room to crop the 24/7 so I went with another person who did not pay xtra to scrap since it was her 2nd she knew wasn't worth it.

I don't think you can enjoy cropping and cruising but like someone else posted if it's put on by a GOOD PRO may be diff..
Thanks
