Beautiful photos, one and all! I had a hard time choosing, but I've made a decision...

Jennifer (memories5)! Congratulations!! I choose your locker photo as the winner because it was the one that showed my "Back To School" theme I had in mind. All the photos submitted were beautiful and the balloon photos that Jackie (coolbeans) submitted were AMAZING!!! I love these monthly challenges, because there are always so many different scenes depicted! Thank you to all that contributed this month!!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Oh my gosh! Thank you! I didn't know I had won as I haven't been on 2peas for awhile! I don't have a photo yet for a comparison, but I was thinking in honor of Back To School, how about the basic colors?

Red, Blue, Yellow and maybe a few variations of orange, green, purple? A photo of at least 2 of these colors in the color scheme, the brighter the better. A red barn with green pastures. Wait! I have one of those! I'll post it later when I find it! But hopefully you get the gist of it. Does that sound good? I like the diversity of having different colors with the last few months. So I hope everyone else will agree!

ETA: Pictures! Here are some red/green & yellow/green examples. I am looking forward to seeing how everyone interprets this challenge! Have fun shooting!!

Oh good! I am still trying to upload my barn pic, but for some reason I can't get on Photobucket, so I'm searching for another site to use. And thank you again Susan!

Very neat ones already! My real life friend that introduced me to the peas did a bicycle shot that I still love & posted it here for cc.

So cute in the little kippah/yalmuka Jackie! Where were you?

This isn't my offical entry but I laughed when you mentioned Red, Yellow, and Blue. I live in Romania so that combination is EVERYWHERE:

I just got back from a weekend gypsy fair up in the mountains a few hours from my home in Bucharest. Talk about displays of COLOR. I loved this gypsy girl who stood out in a sea of color.

What a beautiful picture Meg! Love the red dress! I've never been to a gypsy fair...something to look into!

Jennifer, I love the picture of the painter! Most people would be taking pictures of the lighthouse, but you see tons of pics of lighthouses, so your's is more original! I also love the red truck!

Jackie, love love LOVE the flowers! So purty!!

Well, I thought this would be a nice challenge, but not too many entries, so sorry if it seems boring. The month's almost over so someone will be getting a chance to pick a color soon! Love all the entries so far! It will be hard to choose! Happy picture taking!!

Jennifer, another great photo! Love the lockers!

Jackie, I don't think there is a limit (I could be wrong), but if there is I don't care! I love your balloon picture! There's a balloon fest next weekend near here, and I've been debating on whether I should go. It's about 3 hours away from me. After seeing your pic, I just might go! They are so colorful!! Thanks for sharing!

I shot this and was thinking that my kids don't know what these are really, and we used to see them on every corner, and every gas station.. You go look for one, and in our area they are gone...

Ooooh!! Sweet night photography Gardencat!! That's something I haven't attempted yet. I love the lighting in that photo! Thanks for sharing!

Jennifer, yet another great photo! You're trying to make this real hard on me, aren't you?!?! We still have a photo booth in our community, but I don't even know if it works. Have never seen anyone use it in years! Great idea for a photo op! Thanks!

I really am not trying to...hehe..
I just love finding the right colors and stuff.
It keeps me motivated.. I don't always look for the
color though you have to get the picture right also..
So much fun!!!

Just bumping this up to the top. I won't be able to choose a winner until Monday. I don't have internet at home so I Pea at work!

I'm hoping to get more entries by then. If not, I do have a couple of photos in mind. So first thing Monday morning we'll have a winner unless more pics are submitted! Then I may have to do a bit more pondering! Thanks to everyone who participated!

I was sort of hoping to see more pictures of children and various school supplies. One of my visions was seeing a boy or girl sprawled out on the floor coloring with their crayons scattered about. Stuff like that. But the pics that have been posted most definitely depicted what I was going for! So thank you!!

Congrats to jennifer... Nice shot. I don't want to take anything from it, as a shot it was worthy of recognition.

Can I just add a comment? Judy, if you were specifically looking for school themes in the color challenge I'm sure you would have had more entries along those lines. At the beginning you simply mentioned color combos, which I believe there were many great ones to choose from.
