You guys probably don't remember me since I am mostly on the NSBR board now.
I had some old pics on my CF card that I apparently never moved to my computer. Then I went throughand deleted a bunch so I could make room to take DS' one year birthday pics. So I realized I never moved the old deleted pics over. Can I still retrieve them? Do I need to do some recovery program?
Sorry if there are any typos...on my phone. |

You'll need a recovery program. If you used a brand name card try googling for the home company. Many cards these days have recovery programs dedicated to them. |

The good news is that it's likely you can get them back-even 2 sessions back I have done that before, formatted over it twice and STILL retrieved most of the original images. Crazy. I have just a basic recovery program, but there are thankfully many out there to choose from. Good luck. |

Most people have pretty good success with data recovery programs you run yourself. However, if the photos are critical or precious, I'd use a professional service. In the past I have used this company for working on a crashed RAID drive: Drive Savers
Good luck!
