Thank you so much Jen for choosing my photo! These challenges are so much fun and forces you to get out there and shoot!
This month I am going to choose the color WHITE - maybe black and white? can I do that? I have such an obsession with black and whites lately and would love to see how everyone else does it.
Here are the rules copied and pasted from the October thread:
RULES: Winner of the previous color challenge will state the color for the challenge and then pick the winner. The winner will then be responsible for starting the next color, date to complete, and choose the winner-so on and so forth!
The Previous Color Challenge Winner may participate but is not eligible for winning the challenge.
All pictures must be NEW, and if you can post your settings, that is great, but don't worry about it as a requirement.
Pictures must be posted by Nov. 30th

We had a heavy frost yesterday, so I went out early to grab some shots. I took several but this one of the frost on the rose leaves is my favorite.
Taken with the 5d Mark II, Tamron 90 Macro.
Settings: ISO 200, f2.8, 1/100

Kind of a different challenge for me as I don't do much B&W nor people candids but I saw this huy in a winery off in a corner and some nice light.

How do I add a picture? I've managed to get it in my gallery, how do I get it to show up here? |

I don't know if you can actually post them from the gallery, you can add a link to them though. Most people use flickr or photobucket to post photos from. |

Since I don't have photobucket or flickr, I'll just post a link. Hopefully this will work.

Here is mine ... black and white cuties in black and white:
This is Miss Sarah (belongs to my friend) and Annie (mine - age 11). They were at a local library's volunteer appreciation dinner. My friend and I (along with the dogs) gave a brief presentation on the reading program we do there. (Kids read to the dogs.)

I took this just this morning with hard little snow pellets swirling in the air and huge flocks of birds wheeling in the sky. The grey November skies are here and winter is in the air.
ETA: Settings: ISO 3200, f=11, 1/800 ( I really pushed the ISO to get the fast shutter speed to keep the birds from motion blurring, and to keep the longer depth of field to get more of the flock in focus.)

Thanks so much Tracey. I know there were not many entries but each one was beautiful.
I'll start a new thread with my color choice for December. |
