Seeing as I haven't posted in FOREVER, I thought I would share a few (or loads) of images of my summer. I haven't been able to shoot half as much as I would have liked to this year and I haven't shared properly since MARCH!, but it was still nice to get out when I could! I am actively trying to post more on the board like I used to. Let's hope it stays that way! 
So, these first images of my niece were shot way back in May but I love them so much! She was so good to me that day. She fell in love with the brown hat, which made it easier for me

3 - I love her laugh. We played a game of 'Wouldn't it be funny if...' and she said 'Wouldn't it be funny if the sky was green!' and she was in hysterics for about 10 minutes. She found herself so funny which gave me the best smiles!
4 - This was shot in July. I found this super cute hat in H&M and had to use it straight away. This was the only time I didn't direct her. Just shot in silence as she played in the driveway.

6 - My sister FINALLY agreed to model for me after months of my waiting. This was the end of July. Shot in my favourite field. I never process to B&W but I loved this one.
7 - Shot my VERY FIRST enquiry at the end of July. The mother of these girls was a friend of my older sister that I had never met and had been asking for me to take pictures for months but the weather and timing was never right, but one day, the stars aligned and we had perfect weather. They were the sweetest family. I was SO SO nervous and because of it, I think I could have done better, but I am happy with what I got that day

10 - Me and my sister took our first holiday alone to Corfu, Greece, this year. We only went for a week and it flew by so quickly. I didn't take half as many pictures as I had planned to. This is one of my favourites, taken on our last evening.

13 - This is me. I asked my sister to take one of me in Corfu and I actually liked it! Ha! She did quite well, I must say!
14 - Lastly, this takes us up to this past weekend. The weather here has been awful. So so cold, ALL THE TIME! On Saturday, it was freezing, but we had sun for the first time in weeks, and the light was gorgeous, so I grabbed my niece's and ran before the sun went down. They moaned the whole time and I hate what they are wearing, but these are the only images I have taken of them together since they were born!

I like them all, but love the last ones of your nieces (especially the very last).
I think I like that they are not all dressed up in "little princesses in the meadow" type clothes, makes them look like real kids being themselves, so lovely . | |

My heart skipped a beat (in joy!) when I saw your post. What a treat to see so much of your work!
#9 is exquisite perfection, and #15 is just lovely in every way. But all of them are wonderful. I'm so glad you shot your first client!! I would love to see you get paid for your talent, because it is remarkable.
Now get out there and shoot, shoot, shoot so that you can share more with us!!

I admit (sheepishly!) that I haven't popped by here for ages! Life just keeps getting in the way, I suppose!
I'm so glad that I decided tonight was the night to pop by, though - because it means I get to enjoy your amazing work! Every single photograph is just perfection! Your sister is absolutely gorgeous (as are you!) - but, she is still very lucky to have you as her own personal photographer!
And - that last shot of your two little nieces? Well, it makes my heart feel all squishy! What a beautiful, beautiful, capture!

didn't you just love Greece
My Dad's side of the family is actually Greek so we have been quite a few times. My favourite is the island of Thassos, it has the most beautiful beaches!
