I don't post here as often as I used to before I went back to work full-time (and when I had a lot more time to devote to photography), but I knew you ladies would understand why I'm so excited. I pulled the trigger this afternoon and ordered a Canon 7D! I know the learning curve on it is going to be really big, but I also know it'll be great when the spring soccer season starts.
What was funny was how it came about... DH casually told me, "Why don't you go ahead and order the camera you've been looking at." Translated, that really means, "I'm getting new wheels and tires for my car - happy wife, happy life - you should get to spend a little bit on yourself too."
Whatever... I'll take it! 
My new baby will be here on Monday (I love Amazon Prime), and I can't wait to get my hands on it!
