anyone have a lens repaired?

I'm not sure what happened but I broke my lens. It has something inside broken and it's stuck so now the lens stays partially open. I can use it but only at the length it's stuck which really makes taking a picture a big PAIN!!!

It's a Sigma so when I get home from vacation I'm going to call them about having it repaird.

yes....vacation without my lens. I'm one grumpy woman!!!

have you double checked to make sure you haven't hit some tiny little switch on the lens that has locked it in place (at least one of my lenses has that element and occasionally I hit it by accident).

nope....its not a switch...its broke broke. I shipped it off yesterday so it will be a week or so till I know what is going on with it. I am going to have to pull out my old lens that doesn't love me too much.
