I was lucky enough to get a chance to torture the little sister of one of DH's best friends from high school for her engagement session. We started at about 8 AM on a balmy 20 degree morning. Woohoo! But holy crap these guys were champs. The bride-to-be's mom called me up wanting to pay me to take their engagements, but of course I couldn't. They are extended family to DH so I was just happy to be able to help them out.

When we started, it was a little overcast. Not too far in, however, the sun came out and we had to get creative. Of course, that allowed me to go in search of some sun flare, because we all know I love me some sun flare!

Every single image shot with my 5DMII and 135L.

This is processed differently, just so ya know...

Had a great time and it was a nice end to a really awesome year. I stayed really busy this year and finally feel like I'm starting to find my style. But still so much to learn! I really, really want to push myself on posing this next year. I swear my brain goes dead each time I try to come up with some different poses! Ack!

Oh! I always love your shares, and this one was right in line with all the others - so much fun and so inspiring. I really like the second shot!

I need to work on posing (and tons of other things) too! I'll look forward to seeing how you tackle this issue in the coming year!

They are all beautiful, but I really love 2, 6 and the B&W. You're right about finding your style and about posing, I know that's one of my weaknesses.

It's not gonna be anytime soon but I may have to get the 135, cause these are fab.

These look good to me. Posing, and in general, working with adults, was always my weak spot as well.

I think you did really well with these, I would be thrilled with them myself.

I hope you don't mind my saying, but the first seems a bit brighter and cooler than the rest in the processing. I prefer the warmer edits in the later photos.

HHCC always welcome & appreciated !!

Nope Krisztina you are welcome to point out anything! I did notice looking on here I could see a big difference, didn't see it when editing them individually.

Thanks!
