Advice/suggestions on an Android Tablet to upload photos to?

I am looking ahead to our summer vacation and and all the hundreds of photo s I will be taking. I am wondering if there are any tablets - preferably Android - that will allow me to connect my Canon DSLR to it so I can off-load my photos. I don't want to purchase multiple cards for my camera, and would feel better if each evening my photos from the day were someplace safe. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Multiple cards would certainly be cheaper than a tablet . Depending on the size of your image files and how much you shoot, they could require a lot of memory. I have an iPad and a connector to download image files, but with the iPad, it doesn't download them at full resolution, so I just use that to view them, keep them on the memory cards, and then download the full-sized files to me home computer. If it's a really big trip (like Europe or Alaska) I usually use a fresh card for each day of the trip, leaving the used cards in a safe place.

I used my iPad to download my photos, every night, while in Italy. I would then upload them to box.net and get them off my iPad. I shoot in RAW so my files are really big.
