A few weekends ago we visited a neat waterfall called Bash Bish Falls on the NY/MA border. It's a pretty waterfall any time of year, but I especially like winter (plus, fewer people!). The falls were nice, but I found myself more interested in some of the interesting ice formations at the water's edge. I could've stayed here taking pictures for a long time, but I think my husband and daughter would've worried I fell in or something if I didn't make my way back to the car!

Anyhow, thanks for looking and as always I appreciate CC. Thanks!

Gorgeous! I really do not care for the cold but, your pictures make it seem so welcoming. I understand why you didn't want to leave.

Love the ice bulbs photo! They are all great, and your naming of them tickled my funny bone a tiny bit.

Thanks ladies! It was a fun photo outing. I'm sure if anybody had walked by and seen them they would've wondered what in the world I was doing. I was testing the ice, laying on my belly, and scooting around to take the pictures (and it was an area that didn't look particularly photogenic from afar - so I'm sure people would've wondered what I was taking pictures of. Everybody heads straight to the falls!).

Great shots girl!!! On one of them I thought it looks like ice Feet Very good!!

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it.

Very cool. I love how some of the water is still flowing. Great close ups if the ice too.
